Clean room. Bathroom was absolutely tiny- caused claustrophobic reaction with door closed. Complimentary breakfast was at a restaurant off site but was good. Parking garage was also off site.

They are in the final stages of upgrades so when we checked in we noticed some things from the workers but maintenance never needed to stop by as they did not impact us. Even with the holiday weekend the place was always kept clean and orderly and we appreciated all the effort the staff made in our experience. This might be the cities fault but when they shut down the side streets it makes getting from the hotel to the parking garage a challenge and no one seemed to figure out a solution for that making for some awkward traffic.

Only negative thing I have to say is the lock on the door didn't lock but you had to use a key pad with a code to get in so it wasn't a big deal. Everything else was great. Would definitely stay there again

The price and website gave the impression of a very noce resort. The hallways are not well lit and have a musty smell. We had a second floor ocean front room. The floor felt wet all the time. The ceiling in our room had several cracks. The patio reflected the age of the building and the handrail was not very secure. The patio was barely big enough for 2 people and the chairs and table were the cheap plastic that you get at Home Depot. The lock on the door to the patio was difficult and the glass on the door was permanently etched making it difficult to see through. The shower head was corroded and the tub had a large chip in the finish with rust showing through. I wiil say that it was very quiet even with Bike Week noise.

Room very clean, bed comortable, good shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap in bathroom, room quiet, staff very friendly and helpful, pools, hot tub & lazy river are well maintained. No daily housekeeping. Parking was across the street from the hotel about 1/2 block away. Nice breakfast buffet at resturant across the street from the hotel. Our biggest problem was gaining entry to our room. They were using a 10 digit lock that was very challenging to use. It took 2 days to finally open the room without assistance. They are installing new door locks after we left. I would stay here again.

It was overpriced for the lack of comfort and ease of access. Ten digit to get into the rooms. Parking garage is not an on site and needs and 4 digit code to use it. Rooms were just dingy and very hollow walls. Would not recommend spending that amount of money for staying there even 1 night. Beds had sags in them where they were wore out. Everything just wore out.

I requested a beach view, beach front room. The room they gave me was just that, however, the room was on the first floor and when we got to the room and opened the curtains the pool was directly in front of us with people at the pool looking into our room. I requested a different room but they refused to move me. So I really didn't have a view of the beach as we had to keep our curtains closed for privacy. The room was nice enough, but the location of it was not!

The Beach view was great! Hot water control for the shower in my room 307 was connected in reverse! I couldn’t figure out how to get hot water to take a shower! When I went to the front desk about hot no hot water , I was told that the water connection may be in reverse. Sure enough it was, so I had to turn the knob from hot to cold to not get burned by the very hot water! The breakfast was included with my stay. There was a voucher for the restaurant who served the breakfast across the street! I forgot my backpack in the room after checking out! The Person cleaning the room turned it in to the front desk! About 4 hours later I received a call saying that I forgot my backpack! So I drove 2 1/2 hours back to retrieve it! My IPad and everything was in there!

The room appeared clean until we got in a bed full of sand. No housekeeping for this at the hour I came in. But there's no way they changed the sheets with a bed full of sand. Staff at front desk were awesome. Our view was beautiful tho.

The rooms were very clean. The beds comfortable. Enjoyed the ocean view balcony. Loved the complimentary breakfast buffet tickets. The breakfast was wonderful with many selections of food. Enjoyed the DVD rental card with many selections of movies. Liked having the laundry facility to wash our clothes before leaving. The bathroom was quite small and shower curtain wouldn't stay closed when showering but we made it work. Didn't like that housekeeping didn't clean the room while we were there. The floors could have used mopping after tracking sand in from the beach. The staff was very nice and helpful. Overall this is a great place to stay. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and yes they offer free breakfast at a restaurant across the street. Take advantage of that but hopefully that restaurant will step it up. Their eggs aren't as hot as they should have been because by the time you get them to your table after visiting the buffet, they're cold. But the rest of it the grits, bacon & fruit. Delicious. We had a couple of favored people who really stepped up with service the waitress Jen and the hostess I think she said her name was Beth? Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 11am but they start breaking the buffet down at 10:30, just don't be any later than 10: 15am Also when it comes to parking go in person to PAY location on 9th just down from the board walk, and get a pass. Being over 60 to park in the parking deck was just too much walking. We paid $50 for 5 days totally worth it. It also gave us free parking at the city meters. We wanted to stay 2 additional days but I couldn't reach Hotels.com I left a message but no one called back. So if you book through Hotels.com be sure to definitely know how long you desire to stay. It's not something you can change. At Carolinian beach resort their whole grounds were well kept and we really enjoyed our stay. Housekeeping was great too! Debra was very welcoming at check in. At check out was Keisha also very polite and wished us safe travels going home. 😇 Thank you Carolinian Beach Resort at Myrtle Beach South Carolina!

Whole floor we were on smelled terrible. , staff was nice, breakfast tasted like it was five days, kids enjoyed the pool. Need better lighting in the parking garage that you have to walk to doesn’t feel safe to walk through at night
