Unfortunate incident occurred on 9/1/25 at 2:15 am- A fire due to electrical on the second floor. We were outside until 3:30 am and had a terrible night's sleep. Staff apologized at check out and stated corporate would be contacting us regarding compensation. We have had no contact and it has been a week. This needs to be addressed right away.

We really loved our stay! We were in town for a wedding, and we found the location very convenient. Not only were we close to the venue, but we were really close to downtown Mystic! The space was also excellent for our dog as well!

dont stay here.

the room was small. sink outside of bathroom. no drawers to put things away. they had an electrical fire earlier in the day. ceiling tiles missing. wet stained tiles. banging all night above us sounded like someone lifting weights and dropping them, like furniture being lifted and dropped. complained noise stop for 20 minutes. started again at 1230 am after hearing for 4 hours. the stafff was understanding and we got a full refund and choice to stay somewhere else. we cut our trip short. not a way to start a mini vacation

There was a fire overnight that caused all guests to be outside for an hour and a half from 3:15-4:45. While I am grateful the alarms worked and the fire department was able to handle it, I feel the response (or lack thereof) was disappointing. There was zero communication- not a word in person from the employee during the event or a text, email, note under the door, etc. the next day. I’m surprised, I would have expected some sort acknowledgment and reassurance, even just “happy to report everyone was ok, we’re resolved the issue and don’t expect any further fires for the remainder of your stay”. Fire aside, the whole building had a dank musty smell and wasn’t the cleanest. Crumbs on the carpet, hairs on the sink. I wish I had read the reviews more closely vs just relying on the star rating as the two don’t seem to align.

Photos misrepresent the quality of this accommodation. Slapping paint and creating a breakfast room is not an upgrade. It’s very outdated with what did you taketoxic smell in the hallways from low quality commercial carpet similar story in the room. nfortunately, there was a fire in a room during our stay prompting all guests to evacuate

Wow. What a overnight

So it was a good check in to the room. The second floor was not bad. The issue was the 2 amish fire scare until 4 am. The staff made sure people were aware to evacuate the hotel and I did appreciate the response time of Mystic Fire department. The fire department was very busy for Labor Day weekend. Even today Monday, the Mystic village supposedly had a fire issue. The crazy thing at check out no kind of thought to a small reimbursement or Hilton certificate to stay anywhere. However from what I understood everyone got out of hotel.
