The spacious, open floor plan offers three dining areas and ample living space to entertain and visit with your family and friends. Take in the beautiful panoramic ocean views from the windows, large decks and private porches. Big Daddy's is exquisitely decorated and unique touches can be found throughout the home. The warm, inviting interior design creates a great vacation atmosphere.

Enjoy watching the pelicans fly and dolphins play in the surf from your private dune-top deck and private walkway to the beach. Relax and unwind by the private oceanfront pool and 6 person hot tub or lounge around all day on the extensive ocean front deck. If it's activity you want, play a game of volleyball or go exploring at the beach. In the evening, come back and cook burgers and dogs on the charcoal grill.

Big Daddy's is located close to everything Outer Banks. It is in the perfect location in the heart of Nags Head, which means less driving and more relaxing. Close to fine dining, shopping and attractions. Close to Roanoke Island, home to The Lost Colony Outdoor Drama, NC Aquarium, and Kill Devil Hills, sight of the First Flight and the Wright Brothers Memorial. Also just minutes from a well known landmark that supposedly got its name since it was a well known horse racing spot. Spectators would climb to the highest dunes to view the races below, we now call Jockey's Ridge. Visitors climb to the top, fly kites and even hang glide from this unbelievable sand dune formed by Mother Nature.

Big enough for everyone

It was nice but needs repairs and upgrades. I loved the space and the location but the house was worn and the beds were awful. The stove burners did not all work, which made cooking for a large group challenging. I had a rental home in OBX before and upgraded it every year.

Great Stay at Big Daddy’s

Another great trip to the outer banks. House was well represented in pictures. Some items were dusty but overall house was clean and in decent shape. Bedsheets and shower / bath towels provided but recommend bringing your own sheets and pillow cases. Rooms were as described and in pictures. WiFi was there but signal wasn’t strong enough or fast enough for the kids to play their online games with laptop. Volleyball net and playing area was really great. It was ample space for 8 vs 8. Pool table was in ok shape for a bar pool table. Ping pong table if you want to use has to be mounted on top of pool table. That wasn’t in great shape. Air conditioning worked well throughout the house. Ground floor and 2nd floor were nice and cool. Top floor was ok due to the kitchen and ovens in use. Lowest temp available was 70 degrees. Outside pool and hot tub were great for the kids. Beach access was great, water was clear, waves very fun, and overall not crowded. There is a refrigerator on the top floor and an ok refrigerator on the ground floor. The “bad” - during our stay the downstairs refrigerator and freezer had an issue and we lost some of our food due to this. It took 24 hours for repair person to come and fix a part that started the compressor. - during the stay the top floor air conditioning stopped working due to the flood pan filling up. We reported this around 2 pm but no one was able to come and fix this until the next morning. It was an unpleasant night as the top floor had all the eating areas and kitchen. - the beach really as awesome but be warned there are times where there are a lot of jelly fish and you will get stung. Ive been to OBX a few times now and never had this issue until this trip. It was bad enough that we left the beach each time it happened. Overall: great house, well represented, would repeat. Few issue but that’s life

The layout of the house was ideal for large group with different wake up times. The kitchen was well equipped with necessities. All bedrooms and bathrooms were as advertised. The lower level game room was small (hard to do more than just play billiards there). The pool was a good size for 10 kids ages 4 to 10. The house location was great for walking to a few restaurants and ice cream. No gas grill with house, so we had to rent one to be delivered.

Close to everything

This was a great house but couldn't find anything to clean floors with. We broke something that was glass and there were no brooms anywhere. Also would have vacuumed had we known where the vacuum was. I know we are on vacation but if we has a broom and vacuum it would have made the turn over easier. Also kept getting splinters from the wood deck. Ouch.
