Welcome to Good Tidings. We are thrilled to have you as our guests for your vacation to Nags Head. With miles and miles of beach, attractions and great restaurants the Outer Banks is the spot to unwind, relax and simply enjoy.

NEWER, ***CLEAN***, FUN & BEACHY! You are able to pull directly under the covered carport for easy loading/unloading in any kind of weather. BEACH ACCESS is located down our street. YOU CAN SEE BEACH ACCESS FROM THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE = 3 MINUTE WALK TO BEACH. Home is situated in the Heart of Nags Head. Close to everything. House is on a corner lot that borders a dead-end street. Great for kids! The side streets located in our neighborhood are great for walking/biking. Guests love gathering on the covered front porch and enjoy chilling on the cool cement area underneath the house. Taking a short walk to get ice cream is one of our guest's favorite things to do.

*The Home*
"Good Tidings" is a well-maintained Oceanside Home (2017) with 3 Bedrooms and 4 Bathrooms located on a nice corner lot. We take meticulous care of our home and add yearly updates to it for your enjoyment and comfort. On the Main Level you will find an open concept kitchen/dining area with a comfortable living room. The living room has Lazy Boy furniture & a brand new Samsung 65" Smart TV to enjoy quality time with your guests. This level also hosts the master bedroom with a Sterns & Foster Luxury King Mattress and its own 40" Smart TV, full bathroom and walk in closet. The master bath has double sinks, and a tile walk in shower. There is also laundry, and a half bath located just beyond the kitchen area.

The 2nd Level hosts 2 additional bedrooms connected by a Jack & Jill bathroom. One bedroom has a queen size bed and a twin-size bed with a 24" Smart TV. Both mattresses are new for the 2026 season. The other bedroom has a queen size bed with a Sterns & Foster Luxury Mattress and a 32" Smart TV.

In addition to Central Air/Heat with separate zones for upstairs and downstairs we also have ceiling fans located in every room.

For your convenience there is another half bath located next to the dry entry (ground level of the home).

***We do not provide linens/towels with your rental. There are mattress pads, pillows with protectors and quilts available for use. You are welcome to bring your own sheets/towels or please contact either of these two companies for sheet/towel rentals. ***AFTER A DAY AT THE BEACH COOL DOWN IN THE SHADE*** The covered front porch is a great space to hang out no matter what time of the day it is. There is a cement area underneath the house for gathering and relaxing along with a nice private outdoor shower. Super convenient for rinsing off after those trips to the beach.

*The Location*
Located on the Oceanside of the highway near Milepost 11. Direct beach access is just down our street. It is a great neighborhood for walking/biking. When through at the beach you can walk to some pretty great places. Hop right over to The Spot known for their ice cream and acai bowls. A short walk to Dowdy Park = BEST PLAYGROUND ON THE OUTER BANKS. Includes an amphitheater, restrooms, fitness trail, basketball/pickleball courts, bocce area and a playground for kids. In season it offers free Yoga Tuesday mornings, free Tai Chi Wednesday mornings, free concerts Wednesday evenings, and a Farmers Market on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. The Morning View & Waverider's are great places to grab your morning coffee. The Food Lion Grocery Store is just a short walk from the house. There are also some great restaurants, shops and art galleries nearby. Looking to do some Pier Fishing? Take the bike path to the Nags Head Pier for great fishing or a meal overlooking the ocean.

Not all trips are created equally. This trip exceeded all of our expectations. Despite not great weather, the home, location and host made everything exceptional! If you are considering a trip to OBX, ensure “Good Tidings” is on your short list. In fact, pencil it in at the top of that list. We will surely be back!

This property was a perfect fit for our cousin trip to the Outer Banks for our first time! Fun vacation here

Very nice property a short walk to the beach. The three year old had no problem with the walk both ways even after spending a couple hours at the beach. Beach is uncrowded and plenty of space for everyone. The place is very comfortable and clean and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation.

We loved our stay! The owner was very responsive with any questions leading up to our trip. Easy walk to beach and ice cream/coffee. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed our early walk to watch sunrise and got to see dolphins each morning. Our kids range from 12-17 and they all agreed that they would want to stay in this house again.

This was our first time visiting the Outer Banks and we couldn’t have had a better experience. The home was close to the beach (we walked there), restaurants, shopping and the grocery store. The home had a well-equipped kitchen and all things needed for a great beach day! The home was clean, nicely decorated and everyone had plenty of room. Good Tidings is an A property!

First of all, this home is in a stellar location, walking distance to the beach, stores, ice cream, etc... This home was perfect for our family, very clean & spacious. The neighborhood is quiet and very family friendly! Communication with Arianna (owner) was outstanding and the house had everything we needed to get settled in (essentials), very lovely home! We will definitely come back next year!!! One note to add, the closest beach access (end of the street by Old Virginia Dare) has stairs, just something to keep in mind if you rent or bring a beach cart.

Truly a gem!

This house is so lovely. Access to the beach is very convenient. The owner clearly cares about your comfort as the furniture and beds are in great shape. Another thing that stands out is how clean this house is - it was probably the cleanest rental property I have stayed in. Highly recommend!
