For the price we were extremely pleased with the hotel. The decor in our room was perfect beach hotel. The text check in process made getting settled in so easy. We will definitely stay here for our next long weekend at the OBX. The only negative was the parking is right and we drove our large truck so we did have an interesting time getting in and out of our parking spot.

Limited towels, no staff to request more after a certain period, no hot water for showers and the appliances were not clean from previous guest

We do have limited hours for the Spring season. The office is open 9-5 during the week and 9-7 Friday and Saturday. There is always someone available by phone for assistance. We will address the issue of the appliances with housekeeping.

My experience at this hotel was nothing more than awesome. I was able to check in by 1 o’clock in the afternoon which is a lot better than other hotels. The staff was great I had explained to them that I had ordered some flowers and balloons prior to getting there. They actually hung around and waited for the delivery and then brought them to my room. The room I had was clean well decorated comfortable and very cozy. I will definitely be going back. Thanks for the great experience.

Cute and Convenient

This motel has been renovated and it is very cutely decorated and very clean. The staff was accommodating and we felt very safe. However, I personally felt that the bed was quite uncomfortable, as I have a very soft bed at home. The person I travelled with didn’t mind the hard bed at all. One other thing to note is that the bathroom is TINY. There isn’t much wiggle room and that’s fine, but be aware that showering was quite comical. If the motel could invest in adjustable shower heads, I think that this would help. Otherwise, you’re kind of mushed against the shower stall wall to try to get shave your armpits and rinse your hair. Overall I would recommend this hotel and I would potentially stay again.

Thank you for your review. The king rooms do have the smallest bathrooms with the stall showers. The double queen rooms have a full tub and shower combo. Beds are of medium firmness and toppers can be requested for the more pillowtop feel.

This was a good location, could tell the hotel was renovated lately. The bed was very hard, shower was very small, the light to the bathroom was outside of the bathroom door (didnt make much sense to me). If you bring a dog you will be billed after you leave, and watch where you walk your dog there are thorns that can get into the paws.

Thank you for your review, we did renovate all the rooms this spring. All the furnishings are new as well as the beds, if they are too firm a topper can be requested for your next stay. We have 5 pet friendly rooms and the rate is an additional $25 per night, usually charged at booking if we are made aware at that the time.
