I was pleasantly pleased with The Tide's Inn. The room was "Cozy", perfect for myself. I was there to attend my Father's Funeral. The room was updated and clean. I would however ask that they wash the Window. I did enjoy the walk over to the RV area to sit at the picnic Tables and enjoyed the View of Parksville Beach. The access down to the Beach may need some attention as I did not find it very assessable for those with any mobility issues. Right beside the Tide's Inn was The Bayside Resort, which has a Wonderful Happy Hour, great patio and view, you can access via an open Gate.

Property although older has been renovated. Lovely and clean with comfortable beds. They have outdoor seating and even a BBQ if you are so inclined. No restaurant on property but great restaurant on adjoining property Bay Hotel. Also a coffee shop at mini golf next door. Staff were amazingly nice and efficient. Check in and out easy. Good restaurants near by. I would recommend this small hotel which is reasonably priced.

The back where our room was had patio tables available for each unit which was most appreciated. And it was quiet, the motel, as are many of the accommodations, is located on a highway that is quite noisy. My only complaint is that the lights on the fence were on the entire night and the blinds didn’t keep the light from getting into the room, that kept me awake for some time. Photo is of my Yorkshire Terrier Watson, he slept just fine!..

And what makes this place different is the staff - they go above and beyond. Keep in mind it is a 2 star motel - for what it’s worth I’d give it a 10/10

The receptionist staff is friendly, it is easy to park. Tho the room we assigned has a very small washroom I think it depends on the prize. Free coffee is a plus and a microwave to the room. The paradise mini golf is free to access and we enjoy playing golf in weekdays in weekends it is too busy. No cable TV and there's no way to sign in your netflix or prime. We ask to make up the bed but no one came to do it and we have to do by ourselves. We stayed 2 nights, overall its is good and reasonable prize.

I was in town on business. The staff was wonderful and helpful. There is a popcorn machine and coffee always available at the front desk! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were always available to help. They also offer free mini golf next door and it was really fun!! I highly recommend The Tides Inn and would stay there again

This recently renovated motel is in a great location with beach access and other recreation activities nearby. It is a good value at the price point. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.
