Our room was exactly as pictured. We received a phonemail from the proprietor the morning of our checkin advising us there was an unforeseen plumbing issue that was causing some noise and disruption. Although it was not our room, Madelon offered to set us up with a comparable room at another hotel at no additional cost so that our stay would be memorable and uninterrupted. Her kindness and thoughtfulness was touching. The room we stayed in at the Cliff House was impeccable, quiet and just what we wished for to celebrate a very special birthday.
