The room I got was relatively small for the price, but you do know that in advance. They have different bedding options. It was clean and air-conditioned and had everything you needed. My only complaint was dim lighting in the bathrooms, but otherwise it was a great stay.

Cute dog friendly boutique hotel in the heart of town, super convenient and vibey. Service is very “hands off” so don’t expect anyone to go out of the way for you. Rooms had very thin walls and you can hear everything including neighbours and street noise. The restaurant and patio is very nice for a sit welcoming guests outside the hotel as well. It would be nicer if it had more of an intimate personal hotel feel for guests with special perks or discounts on drinks / food. Quite overpriced for what you get but that is the island overall.

The Faraway was a very beautifully appointed Boutique hotel and we loved our stay here. The rooms are small especially if you have large suitcases but very charming and the courtyard is a really fun place to hang out. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Nantucket. The staff were a little unresponsive and often seemed to be unsure how to help. One day our room was not made up despite us being out all day. Otherwise I highly recommend the Faraway, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The main courtyard area/bar was an absolute zoo from 5pm on. This is the second time I stayed there in 3 years, and both times i got rooms (different locations) on the street that were excruciating loud. Garbage pick up at 641 everyday outside my window, not to mention other deliveries in the early am is too much for me when I’m on vacation. It’s a nice hotel and i bet there are some quiet rooms, but now that I am 0-2, I will chose another place to stay.

I've never bothered writing a review for a hotel, but I will say this was one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a while. We had a basic room with an adjoining bathroom at a pretty decent price for an overnight the week of july 4th. It was decorated so well. The toiletries were so good I looked into purchasing them when I get home to find they were way outside my price range. The amenities were AMAZING! We took the complimentary bikes along with the complimentary beach chairs and beach towels to the beach one day. I've stayed at a lot of hotels and it's almost unheard of for all of the above to be included with the stay. We've already recommended this hotel to friends and if and when we go back we will absolutely be staying here again. Also, the staff was wonderful. 10/10 Would recommend.
