We lived everything. The property was nice . Beach access was perfect room was nice bed comfy. The only issue we hade was that there was only valet parking. We booked through Travelocity and did not realize thwerw was an extra 44$ fee for parking everyday. We had no choice to valet. I thought this fee was excessive when we had no choice

We had a nice time. There are great restaurants in the area and you can walk down the beach to the south but to the north there’s some erosion that makes it tricky. It would be nice if you could bring a cooler to the beach instead of being required to buy their food and drink. Our room had a great view of the beach and the massage in the spa is always nice if you can afford it.

The lights are on, but nobody is home! Staying in the older low-rise block was a thrill as we had stayed there over 30 years ago...and still the dolphins splashed in the shallows...as if on a schedule! The huge works going on made the tiki bar area a no-go zone, but the beach remains as lovely as ever. However, the hotel seems to think it is better than it is, as we had to send back a chicken main that was simply inedible, and very strangely presented. Unfortunately, things got worse when out toilet stopped functioning, and despite many calls and after a 5 hour wait with no action, we went to find someone and fortunately bumped into a maintenance worker who discovered that housekeeping had turned off the water valve! The total lack of interest, concern and action from the front desk in a way sums up their current operations...they have disengaged from satisfying the guest by seemingly putting their own self-importance ahead of genuine interest in their guests. Too bad...another potentially great property leaves our list of desirable future stays.

Staff was friendly, hotel had a lot of construction outside by pool and beach, wasn't told this when I specifically called before I booked it. Also, Expedia shows prices that says inclusive of fees and taxes, yet I was charged $55 per day for "resort fee" plus additional minimal state and occupancy fees.

Ants in room-service was just okay-place needs updating-prices very high for what you get. The mandatory 20% service charge feels excessive, especially since it’s added every single time you order something at the beach or pool. For the nightly rates they charge, it’s unreasonable not to include at least two bottles of water per night — and even more so when the bottles in the room come at an extra cost. The pillows are also in urgent need of replacement. The only standout was the beach staff, who provided truly exceptional service with the chairs and umbrellas.
