The Lodge - 2 Bedroom Cottage - Princes Gate
Welcome to The Lodge, a luxury barn conversion situated on the outskirts of the quaint town of Narberth.
The Lodge has plenty of charm and has been finished to the highest of standards throughout.
On entering the picturesque cottage, youâll find the main bathroom to your right, equipped with a large bath/waterfall shower, the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring.
Carrying on to the kitchen, this spacious area is full of character with high beamed ceilings, exposed brick walls and traditional arch windows, fitting in with the country elegance. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything youâll need, including a butchers block for food preparation, a gorgeous fireplace with an electric fire and two armchairs.
Moving upstairs, youâll find the two bedrooms. To the left you have the twin room, a charming and cosy space and to the right you have the master bedroom. The master has a spacious super King size bed, a TV, a dressing table and a little alcove for sitting in and admiring the outside views of the countryside. Again, this room is full of beautiful features like the exposed brick wall and oak beams, in fitting with the rest of the property.
Thereâs also a modern toilet room upstairs for your use, as well as the downstairs bathroom.
Outside of the property, youâre surrounded by beautiful grounds and countryside, making this the most peaceful location for your stay. A parking space is situated right in front of the property on the private driveway.
The Lodge is a luxury, countryside property, ideal for those who want a bit of relaxation but also close to all the local amenities and popular towns.
The property is really comfortable. It is equipped for 4 people to stay. The cottage was clean upon our arrival. We arrived late on a Sunday night but unfortunately the heating was not working. We called the property management who promptly fixed the issue during Monday morning. Overall summary - a nice, quiet, remote cottage that could be made better with simple touches such as provision of a kitchen towel, kitchen cleaner etc.
Lovely cottage in great location, but poorly presented, dust and fluff in living room on arrival, cobwebs in bedrooms, outside of building looks nothing like the photos, overgrown and leaves everywhere, poorly signposted, the post code covers a large area and not just these cottages, communication with the host was poor aswell.
Lovely stay, only down side was it was chilly⊠wish Iâd brought my slippers.
Also there werenât any walks (that we could find) on our doorstep. A shame when there is no secure garden (I was aware of) and you have a dog to walk.
Also the bathroom location wasnât ideal.
Facilities were great, was clean and well looked after and we had a great stay there.
Beds were comfy.
Welcome shortbread on arrival too⊠thank you!
Would stay again
