I recently had the pleasure of staying at MoShams, and I can confidently say that it’s an ideal choice for anyone seeking a peaceful, serene, and luxurious getaway. The rooms are elegantly designed, offering a perfect balance of comfort and style, with the bed being exceptionally comfortable. The dining experience was outstanding. The Garhwali Thali was a true highlight and the masala omelette for breakfast was equally delightful. As a solo traveler, I truly appreciated the hospitality provided by Sharmila and Mohit and all of their staff. Their warmth and attentiveness made me feel safe, welcomed, and well cared for throughout my stay.

Quiet and calm

A quiet laid back escape from the hustle and bustle of Rishikesh. I ate some great food. The owners are experiencing hoteliers and the chef worked for 9 years in Taiwan. Lovely spot!

My stay was absolutely magical. The property is in immaculate condition. The owners, Mohit and Sharmila, are salt-of-the-earth people—very heart-centered and so welcoming. The staff and the taxi driver they recommend are just as friendly. My stay was incredible; I have food restrictions as I am vegan and gluten-free, and the chef made each dish for me with so much love. If you are looking for the ultimate experience while in Rishikesh, I highly recommend this property. For a form of exercise I did stair climbing on the property that allowed me to have a great work out. I loved my stay so much that I booked another week at the tail end of my vacation. It is such a wonderful place to be if you are looking for peace, tranquility, and to be surrounded by people who radiate beautiful energy and the magic of the mountains."

We had a fantastic experience at MoShams! The location is absolutely beautiful, offering stunning surroundings that made our stay truly special. The facilities were impeccably clean throughout our visit, which we really appreciated. Our room exceeded expectations—it felt premium and luxurious, especially considering the price point. The value for money was excellent. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal was delicious and well-prepared, adding to the overall quality of the experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at MoShams and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful location, clean facilities, comfortable accommodations, and great dining. We’ve just spent three wonderful nights in the hills above Rishikesh at Moshams, and it was exactly what we needed after the hustle and bustle of Delhi and Haridwar. The hosts and staff were exceptional, making us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. We came as guests and left as friends—a truly special experience that we’ll always remember. The rooms are spacious, thoughtfully designed, and spotlessly clean. Both of our rooms had stunning views over the surrounding countryside and down to Rishikesh below. Ours had a little plunge pool on the balcony and this then opened out onto the patio area around the main pool area. Just one of the many clever design features. The food was excellent, freshly prepared each day by the on-site chef. We’re now in the noise and chaos of Rishikesh, a beautiful town, but it highlights how peaceful and tranquil it felt sitting high up in the hills looking down on where we are tonight. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If I could give them more stars I would!!! When I was originally booking this from back home in America, I thought it looked perfect. So far they have exceeded my expectations. From the booking to our arrival, everything has been amazing! The service is top notch. The food is insanely delicious. They have gone above and beyond with accommodations. The rooms are beautiful. The pool is serene. The property is gorgeous. They’ve helped us book activities and arrange transportation, everything a foreigner might need help with! I am sad to be leaving. Highly recommend!!!

We had an amazing stay at Moshams recently on a mom and daughter’s trip to Rishikesh. It is run by a sweet couple, Sharmila and Mohit who truly make the property welcoming and full of charm. From the time we booked the property, they engaged with us to arrange transportation, food and activity options and shared insights into local sites. The rooms were spacious with big, clean bathrooms. We enjoyed the clean waters of the pool. Special mention to the chef, Mr.Narendra who cooked some of the best food we have eaten with fresh, local ingredients - the Pahadi thali is a must try! Sharmila went out of her way to get medicine for my sister who had a bout of ill health, much appreciated!!! All in all, Moshams scores in hospitality, curated food and a quiet, pristine location. The treks we did near the property were a lot of fun! Highly recommend Moshams to anyone visiting Rishikesh!

A Place That Speaks Without Words

Thank you Mohit, Sharmilla, and the entire team for a truly wonderful stay. We were honestly surprised—in the best way. As a couple, we spent almost a week here, and it felt like a hidden gem. The moment we arrived, we could feel the peacefulness of the place. There’s something about it—something quiet and grounding—that made us feel at home right away. But more than anything, it was the way Mohit, Sharmilla, and the whole team welcomed and cared for us. It wasn’t just hospitality—it felt personal, warm, and genuine. The atmosphere, the rooms, the restaurant area—all beautifully done. And the food! It was thoughtfully made, tailored to our taste, and we were deeply grateful for that kind of attention. If you feel drawn to a place close to nature, surrounded by mountains, beautifully designed and held with heart—this place might quietly speak to you in its own way. Whether for a weekend or a longer pause, it offers something that’s hard to put into words.

A Serene Boutique Retreat at Mosham's Rishikesh

Our recent stay at Mosham's was amazing. Nestled in the quiet outskirts of Rishikesh, this place is a hidden gem for anyone looking to disconnect from the chaos of the city and reconnect with nature and themselves. The spacious rooms and the thoughtful, tastefully done interiors- everything is aesthetically pleasing, functional, and adds to the calming vibe of the property. The food deserves a special mention-every single meal was an experience in itself. The chef at the property is outstanding, and the dishes served were not only delicious but prepared with such love and care that we looked forward to each mealtime. What truly sets Mosham’s apart is the personal attention and care provided by the hosts, Mohit and Sharmila. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, warm, and memorable. From small thoughtful touches to genuinely caring conversations, it felt less like a hotel stay and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. The secluded nature of the property is one of its strongest charms. With just a handful of rooms, it offers an intimate boutique stay experience, also allows the hosts to give personalized attention to each guest, making every interaction feel special. In a world that's constantly buzzing, Mosham's Rishikesh offers that rare luxury of silence, space, and soul. Highly recommended for solo travelers, couples, or anyone seeking peace, beauty, and heartfelt hospitality.
