Don’t stay here

Cons: The thermostat constantly switched to heat even though it was 86 degrees outside. The king size bed didn’t have king pillows. The layout of the room was weird. Carpet at sink was gross. Tiny baby toilet and dropped ceiling in the bathroom is a serious design flaw. Pros: Comfy bed and clean room.

Went there for a two day stay. When we arrived, we were told right off that they had no king size beds, even though we reserved it way in advance. However, we agreed to two double beds. Other than that that, everything was outstanding.

The night staff was very nice and helpful. There was blood on the comforter and had not been washed properly. There were not enough blankets and the hotel had ran out. The breakfast was very disappointing. The eggs were most definitely powdered as the water used was sitting in the bottom of the pot. Everything looked overcooked or just unappetizing. I was very disappointed in Hyatt Place. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, making me feel I had been beat up the next morning. The “bar” and drinks were also disappointing as there was not an actual bar tender or drinks mixed when ordered. The drinks were premade and in bottles poured into a glass. They were not very good and were too highly priced. Luckily, Hyatt Place was very close to the Highland Games we were attending. Doubtful I would recommend or stay there again. For the money I paid, I was very disappointed.
