Excellent communication; perfect location for our girls trip. Bed were super comfy and the house was well stocked. We didnât use the shower in the hall bath because it was hard to get in the tub, but the master bath worked well for us. The dimmer switches were hard to find as they were built into the light switch and not a traditional knob. We also could not figure out how to use the fireplace. The location was amazing - close to the Opry & airport and nice, quiet street (watch out for deer!).
Came into town for a wedding and appreciated the large space for 6 people! The home was clean and had all the amenities listed! The linen closet was very helpful for those who needed an extra pillow or blanket! Thank you for your quick response to questions before and during our stay- your information was very appreciated!
Over all a nice place to stay. We had room for everyone and everything we needed. Party of 9. Close to Gaylord. There is road noise from a near highway. There is also beach access but it isn't easy to get to the beach. Not sure if water level was low in Oct 2025. Neither item bothered us. Nice location and pretty view. The deck was a fun place to visit.
Beautiful, spacious, comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood on the Cumberland River provided the perfect retreat for the 4 of us (a couple and 2 single women) while we attended a conference at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. Kitchen was great. Loved the back deck morning and evening! The staircase up to loft is narrow and circular.
Excellent location, as described. The hosts were very good about getting back to us with questions. The WiFi network and password were incorrect on the check-in sheet but we got it squared away easily. The upstairs loft was quite hot. This is no fault of the owners; heat rises! We managed with fans and well timed window-opening. But if you struggle with sleeping in heat donât go up there. The curtains donât block the sun either, so those who slept up there woke up earlier than they wanted. We also thought weâd spend the majority of our time on the (absolutely stunning!!) back porch, but the mosquitos were unbearable. I donât expect the owners to take responsibility for all the mosquitos in Tennessee, however! But guests should plan accordingly. Bring bug spray or candles. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, there were a plethora of cozy blankets, and the location was absolutely dreamy. Weâd stay here again in a heartbeat!
4 friends and i took a weekend guys trip to nashville. Nice quite neighborhood. Hosts easy to communicate with. Would have liked to been able to use the garage, and grass could have used a cut. But overall still 5 stars
Owner was very good at communicating and property was clean. Great location for attending conference at Opryland Resort. House could use some updating particularly the second bathroom. There was no place to hang towels and a walk-in shower would be better than clawfoot tub. Kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely stay here again but would love to see deck and furniture refreshed.
We were very happy with our stay. The home is large and comfortable. The loft is very warm. Fans are provided to help with that. The beach is not accessible for the average person. The make shift ladder is strait up and down and only the very young and adventurous would attempt using it. The deck was out haven for five days. The most relaxing place to spend time. The house sits next to a freeway overpass but the trees help break the sound.
Beautiful, peaceful property. Full stocked kitchen. Perfect if you want to save some money and make some meals before you hit the town! Eat those meals out in the deck listening to the sounds of nature while enjoying the river view. Also the perfect place to wake up with a cup of coffee.
