I booked through Expedia, upon arrival I was informed that they were sold out. I had to rebook somewhere else. But, I have been charged for the stay, I reached out to Expedia and informed them of situation and asked why I was charged. They spent 2 days trying to reach the hotel to get approval to refund me and had no success in reaching them. This is not right.

Did not eat breakfast. The check in staff was very slow and uncaring. There was a line of 28 people in lobby to check-in. And yes I counted so its on camera. Don't know if some were together or not. One clerk was trying while other one was on phone. When she got off phone she checked one person in then stated she had to go move her car. I have checked in at airport and cruise ships faster than checking in your hotel and that was after I got to the front of the line. Everything else was good is only reason I gave a 3.

3.5 stars- no one answers the phone. They need more help. Front desk staff was curteous but needs more assistance and training. Maintenence man was nice and helpful. Housekeeping was accomodating. No shampoo in the bathroom, but they brought some. The hair dryer didn't work so they replaced it. The remote didn't work, but they fixed it. The bathroom door wouldn't stay closed. Breakfast was good. Our last night there, the bartender told us he was over working and was shutting it down (it was 10 p.m.). The location is PERFECT, price is reasonable, just needs more front desk help during the peak seasons.

Breakfast was fresh with grits, sausage links, scrambled eggs, toast, yogurt, small muffins, apples and oranges. Parking was free. Staff was courteous. Beds were pretty comfortable. It was walking distance for all the area. I would stay again.
