This house is located on the property of Chateau des Ormeaux. It was completely restored in 2017 and offers an ideal place of relaxation and tranquility in a bucolic environment. Located in the heart of the Loire Valley, it is a short distance from the Loire castles.
The house is on the ground floor with the garden, it hosts the comfortable living room with its sofa and large armchairs as well as a dining area.
In the extension is the fitted kitchen with direct access to the garden.
The bedroom where harmony and softness reigns, has quality bedding with a 160 cm bed, the bathroom with its walk-in shower is adjoining and comfortable with its heated towel radiator. Blackout curtains guarantee darkness.
The garden is walled, sun loungers, a barbecue and an outdoor table complete the set.
The 2 holiday homes owned by the chateau des Ormeaux, the Vernelle and the Closerie, have a private entrance with automatic gate. Tranquility and privacy guaranteed, the castle being at a distance.

Private and peaceful cottage
Lovely private and peaceful cottage in the grounds of a chateau, owner Pascale was warm and welcoming, well equipped cottage, spotlessly clean. Pascale was always available for queries. Great location to cycle and explore surrounding area, just a few miles from Amboise, hope to return for a longer stay next time.

Perfect French experience
Pretty little cottage close to a chateau. Felt very authentic. Bicycles supplied enabled us to enjoy the surrounding without always the need for a car. Amboise was the loveliest town with some great places to eat and a winery within minutes. Our first visit to the area and we were so glad we chose this place.

Wonderful location …would do it again. Our Hostess did wonders decorating the Closerie gatehouse.
The Closerie is charming, quiet, and cozy. The house is nicely equipped.; the kitchen is wonderful and has all the necessities for an extended stay. The housekeeping is immaculate. Our hostess Pascale has put together a very nice brochure of the local boulangeries/patisseries in the area. she also provided a lengthy listing of local restaurants and vineyards who offer wine tastings. We took a number of extended walks in the area with acres upon acres of vineyards along our walks. Amboise is just minutes drive from the cottage, and Tours about 20 minutes. Many splendi chateaux are within 30 minutes. Nazelle Negron is a quaint community with lots of interesting history. The cottage has a number of very informative books and Pascale is very helpful - all you need do is ask her.

Wonderful base for exploring the Loire Valley region
This was a really comfortable place to stay, in the grounds of a chateau. Pascale, the owner, was very warm and welcoming and was always available to reply promptly to any queries. The house was spacious for a couple, and really tastefully decorated. Beautiful outside space, with grass and an enclosed area which was perfect for our dog. Also, it was well equipped. The internet speed was the fastest I have ever encountered - a fibre connection. The property is in a rural location, a few miles from Amboise. It felt very safe and secure. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this place. The area is beautiful and there are so many wonderful places to visit within a short distance. France at it's finest!!

Superb Stay in the heart of the Loire
My husband, small dog and I stayed in La Closerie for a week in early September. The property is excellent for a couple, it's in a great location, minutes from Amboise with a great host who was very attentive to our well being, We even enjoyed delicious peaches from the tree in the garden! Overall a very enjoyable stay and we would highly recommend Padcale and her accommodation. We will hopefully be back again soon. Thank you!

Charming storybook cottage
This property and its owners rate a 10 star review if it were possible! I cannot say enough good things about our stay. The accommodations were extremely clean and wonderfully decorated with a fully equipped kitchen containing a dishwasher and clothes washer. The bathroom had a double sink with a large walk-in shower. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. The location was wonderfully quiet in the countryside with miles of vineyards and farm fields through which to wander, yet only a few kilometers from Amboise and all its shops. It also had a lovely private yard where we enjoyed our lunches almost daily. The owners were especially generous and kind. They often inquired as to whether we needed anything and helped us navigate the local environment. We have traveled a great deal over the years and this has truly been a highlight of our journeys. Merci beaucoup Pascale et Pascal!!!

Wonderful stay in a wonderful region
The property is quite small but well furnished and was spotlessly clean. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs, who also enjoyed access to the manor house's extensive grounds. We were a short drive from Amboise and the many chateaus of the region.
