Thanksgiving at Wintergreen

Everything was as advertised- family of 6 was well accommodated for a Thanksgiving weekend. Very cold windy and snowy outside but house was warm and comfortable. Very large kitchen was well suited for preparing Thanksgiving dinner.

Family Reunion

The home has a warm feel and plenty of room for family to branch out. We had a lot of fun playing games and family meals. The dining area was large and plenty of chairs. The reason for a 4 rating on cleanliness was the decking and outdoor furniture had a lot of leaves, dirt etc. We were disappointed that after a long 8 hour drive that we had to make our own beds and the house was cold until we turned up the thermostat.

Perfect Wintergreen Getaway

Check-in process was a breeze, communication with the hosts was super easy and consistent. Place was very clean and exactly as appears in the pictures. My group had an amazing time and loved the location of this property. Would 110% stay here again!

Family Time

This property was a great location for our family vacation. The place was very clean when we arrived, the best of any VRBO location we have enjoyed. The well stocked kitchen provided the necessary tools for our family meals. We enjoyed our time there, and the black bear that went by in the woods, was an added adventure.

As Advertised!

Wonderful property! This home is larger than expected, and with 2 living areas is great for a big family with ranging ages. Laura was very prompt when questions arose, and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. Our group generally books a different home annually, but we will certainly give consideration to returning.

Thanksgiving retreat

A very nice property, well maintained and well equipped. Hot tub and ping pong table a definite bonus. This house, with its teen living areas would work well for two families the owners were quick to respond to any inquiries we made.

Wintergreen vaccination

Refrigerator not sufficiently cold, Hot tub took a long time to heat up, downstairs master bed was very squeaky; had to place pillows behind the headboard, downstairs loveseat pullout bed is horribly uncomfortable. I’m not too picky and we really enjoyed everything else about the house and stay. Wanted to let you know about these few things just in case others don’t let you know. We would probably stay here again

Great Stop In Winterfreen

Our family stayed here for our son’s wedding and everything was just as described. Plenty of room to gather and enjoy the festivities we had planned. The proximity to local hikes and breweries only added to the stay. Our hosts were very responsive and the boys really enjoyed the garage/ping pong room. A great visit.
