Carabeo 36 Studios Casasol

The Good: Excellent location! Conveniently close to the Boardwalk, the Balcon, Burriana beach, shopping, stores and more. Less than 200 metres to the water. We never had to walk far to get where we were going. The apartment balcony was great for coffee in the mornings, overlooking the beautiful Alboran Sea. The Not so Good: The bathroom is very small as well as is the shower even for a person of average size. Lighting was poor in the bathroom as well. The kitchen had no space for counters to prepare foods so we had to make meals on the washing machine top in the kitchen, which was very tight. The bedroom is not fully enclosed so if one person wanted to sleep or rest and another wanted to read or watch TV, it could be noisy and/or too much light. A bit noisy at times out front near the Boardwalk. We did not see where Casasol informed renters they could use the terrace on top of the building for sunning or drying clothes, which is what it is designed for. It's very nice up there so tell people about it! Thank you. John & Debbie

Great location! Small accomodation.

Perfect location to beach, attractions and town. Free parking was a big plus and the terrace had an excellent view! The place is smaller than it looks and much of the space is taken up with locked owner storage cabinets.

Perfect for a couple!

This was a small and compact apartment with beautiful views. It was in an excellent location close to a supermarket, beaches, a few nice local cafes and just 10 minute walk from main square on a flat foot path (important to note for Nerja which has so many hills). We were on the 3rd floor but this apartment block has a lift. It's actually the first apartment block we stayed in with a lift and we've visited Nerja many times. The balcony gets the sun in the morning and misses the afternoon/evening sun. Although initially we felt disappointed about this we quickly discovered it was a benefit... as when we came home from the beach in the afternoon feeling very hot and sweaty the apartment was in shade and nice and cool. There was a slight hum from the refrigerator that I thought might keep us awake, as it's a studio apartment, so it's all one room... in the end it was blocked out by the sound of the air conditioning unit. If you are there at the height of the summer you don't need to worry as you'll definitely need the air con on! It's likely that's it's not as noisy during the cooler months when the motor is not under so much pressure from external heat. This was the only small thing we noted about the apartment that might be a negative...

Well maintained property in perfect location, apartment had everything we needed. Lovely pool area.

First time to Nerja, will definitely return. Would also be more than happy to rent the same property again. Ideal location for beach, tapas bars, restaurants. Apartment block well maintained inside and out with lovely grass pool area. No complaints.

Great location, stunning views

Small but comfortable flat perfectly suited for two people. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony enjoying the fantastic views. The sun hides behind the building around noon, which is probably quite comfortable in the hot summer months - although we would have liked to keep it all day in the month of February. Very friendly and helpful agency who sorted out a minor problem with the wifi immediately.
