Our thatched historic Frisian house dating back to 1893 is located in the north of Germany in the immediate vicinity of Sylt and Denmark. Until 1968, the house was a postcard motif of Hesbüll, served as a post office and housed the Rieber department store. In 2011, it was converted into a modern, cozy vacation home with historical flair. The preservation of the antique wooden ceilings, the combination of modern elements with rustic country house floorboards and antique furniture give the house its special charm. The house has been a listed building since 2023. Relax by the fireplace with music, an exciting movie or with a good book. The house offers the comfort of two cozy bedrooms with double beds, each with its own modern shower room. The large property offers plenty of space to relax and play. While you relax on the terrace with table, garden chairs, two deckchairs or in the real North Sea beach chair, the children can discover nature in the garden or dig in the sandpit. Wood for the wood-burning stove is provided free of charge once during the cold season, but you will need to provide your own firewood for any further firing.
The proximity to the North Sea islands of Sylt, Föhr and Amrum and the proximity to Denmark characterize the location of this historic Frisian house in Klanxbüll/Neukirchen. The extensive landscape of North Friesland offers ideal conditions for long bike tours and walks. The long paths along the dyke are ideal for inline skating. Klanxbüll train station can be reached on foot in 15 minutes and is just one stop away from the island of Sylt. There, beautiful beaches invite you to linger. Whether you prefer a trip to the nearby barefoot park, the Nolde Museum or a detour to the Hülltoft Tief bathing lake, the surrounding area offers numerous leisure activities.
