4/4 home. Sleeps 12. Master: King. 2nd bedroom: Queen. 3rd bedroom: Queen. 4th bedroom: 3 Queens. No pets. MUST BE 25 TO RENT. Renter's ID and Credit Card must be presented at check in or via email. In addition, the electronic rental agreement must be signed prior to check-in.
BRAND NEW 5 FT WIDE METAL STAIRS FOR RIVER ACCESS!!

Enjoy the Guadalupe River in your own backyard on this 2 acres, gated and fenced, 4 bedroom 4 bath stunning home with beautiful decks to sit, relax, and watch the tubers float by! No waiting in line with the private river access just steps outside of your backdoor, as well as a fire pit (fire wood not provided). This home is located between the 2nd the 3rd bridge crossings on River Road. Spacious kitchen with an island, large dining area and living room. The downstairs features 2 bedrooms with a queen size bed each and a full bathroom conveniently located between them. Upstairs you will find the huge master bedroom with a king size bed and not one but two full bathrooms, lots of space and a private covered deck with breathtaking views of the river!

On the other side of the kitchen there is a separate great room with a river view and 3 queen size beds. There is a bathroom and shower in this new addition and 2 beautiful French doors that both open up onto the large deck. This home has all the comforts of home including washer and dryer, cable TV and Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi and cell service in the River Rd area can be spotty). Private river access and the perfect escape for friends and family!

There are wonderful tube rentals, shuttle services, and entertainment up and down River Road! The closest tube rental is at Mountain Breeze. The best fishing in the area! Just a short drive to Gruene and downtown New Braunfels, which both offer fine dining establishments, entertainment, and numerous activities. Gruene Hall is the oldest dance hall in Texas and a famous landmark. Gruene also offers great shopping, restaurants and wine tasting. Close to the outlet malls, Schlitterbahn and Canyon Lake. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. No pets allowed. This home has a maximum occupancy of 12 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. You can park 5 vehicles at this property. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.

The property needs some work/repairs. Pretty sure the electrical in the house isn’t up to code. The back porch and stairs have nail heads sticking up which causes accidents. The stairs to the river were covered in mud, from flooding I assume and there was no floating dock as noted on the wall when going out back doors. Lights in upstairs bathroom with shower have a delay before coming on. All door knobs are a bit loose. Microwave turntable doesn’t work. Ovens are very outdated and do not cook thoroughly. Raccoons are a nuisance. House isn’t terrible but definitely a little over priced.

Run Down - Too Much Differed Maintenance

I should have listened to the bad reviews already posted. Dishwasher had years of crap and buildup. Dishes tasted soaping after running. We couldn't use it for our whole two week stay. Ceiling vents were hanging by a screw ready to fall down on guests sleeping in the beds. Windows seals broken and the beautiful view was unable to be seen. Upstairs bathroom had water spraying all over counter and couldn't be adjusted. Freezer wasn't working. Old small freezer with ice buildup provided in laundry room Padlock on gate wouldn't open. Took over 30 minutes for handyman to open it for us once we got to the house. House was dirty, bugs on floors, showers had hair. Garbage containers had to be wheeled all the way down the driveway to the street even though there were plenty provided. We will Never rent there again

Great Friendsgiving Weekend!!!!

We are 4 couples and we travel together a couple of times a year. We had a great time at this property! It was perfect for meals, games and stories around the campfire. May have to go back in the summer to enjoy the river! Thanx for providing the perfect setting for our time together!!!!

Beautiful exterior and location could not be better. Could use some kitchen appliance upgrades. This is my family's second rental of this property and we enjoyed it. It just needs some appliance updates.

Cozy but very outdated

The house was very cozy inside (although very outdated) but fit our needs. The outside (back) of the house that backs up to the river was very cluttered with tree limbs/trunks, large blocks and concrete boulders throughout the yard. The new floating dock was extremely dangerous. There was no steps to get into the water. Once you step on the dock it moves horribly. There is no balance to it. I know it's floating, but have been on others that are secure and do not cause you to fall. The area around the dock is over grown with weeds. The deck on the rear of the home is in need of repair. At the minimum, nails that stick up should be fixed or replaced. Several from our party tripped from the raised nails on the deck. The home has a LOT of potential...but we certainly will not rent again. The description and pictures are very deceiving

Nice Weekend

The home was easy to find. Check in process was easy. We were a little disappointed in that one oven was not working, the freezer in the refrigerator was not working (however another unit was provided), and there was some tree debris on the stairs down to the water. It was hard to see the water from the deck due to the large amount of vines and bushes growing up from the river. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. We could not get the Wifi to work the entire weekend. This house is right on the water. The stairs down to the water were safe & sturdy.

Riverfront view

Beautiful location with easy access to the river for lots of floating fun. Kitchen is large and had almost everything we needed for cooking. Could use a few more dish towels and more than one dish sponge. House is a bit dated. Though and could use a few updates. Corn hole available and a large charcoal grill. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch

Wonderful property! Peaceful!

Every year a group of friends and us take a river trip. This was our first year booking this house, but it won’t be our last. The house and rooms were very spacious and easily accommodated our 10 guests. The front and back yards are huge! You won’t have to worry about parking or being to close to your neighbors. The grounds are maintained beautifully. There is easy access to the river in the backyard and a deck that over looks the water. I highly recommend this house to all.

Beautiful spot on the river

Great location with easy access to Canyon Lake and a big HEB in New Braunfels. We also went to Government Canyon State Natural Area. House is a bit dated in decor, but has everything you need. We had some water pressure issues that could have been a remnant of the winter storm, but it didn't negatively impact our experience. Loved the sunroom off the kitchen to read and enjoy the views of the property. Quiet and relaxing!

House was clean overall. However carpets very stained and need cleaning or better yet no carpet. Shears in some rooms torn and shredded. Could not shower in upstairs bathroom due to absolutely no water pressure. Access to river was misleading, really no way to get in water safely. Deck on the water was nice and enjoyed sitting out there.

Great riverfront home

4 bedrooms right on river. Perfect shady retreat. Plenty of deck space. Nice kitchen. Lots of room for 4 couples. One room is big enough for a family of 6. Had a great time. We will be back.
