Mountain View Cabin Rentals is located on 13 acres that joins the George Washington National Forrest. Our newly finished cabin is conventiently located in the middle of several popular attractions which are: Luray Caverns, Luray Caverns Country Club, Cooters, Luray Zoo, Shenandoah River, Endless Caverns, Shenvalee Golf Resort, New Market Battlefield.
Mountain View has many hiking trials around the property, stocked fishing pond, charcoal grill, and a firepit to enjoy as well, We also offer dish network, electric fireplace, 50 inch flat screen TV in family room. Each bedroom has a queen size bed along with 36 inch flat screen TV with DVD players. We offer a fully equipped kitchen. Queen sleeper sofa for additional sleeping room.

This cabin is so great! Super cute! Plenty of towels, bed sheets, plates, bowls, utensils, etc! We had a wonderful time here tucked back in the woods enjoying our Thanksgiving weekend. Walmart, Food Lion, etc only 15 mins away. We visted Luray and it was fun, but be sure to go early to avoid crowds! We stopped by Cooters too and it was the best; more enjoyment than I thought it would be, ha! The hosts are wonderful with responding to questions - no matter how many you have! P.s. the fire pit each night looking up at the stars was AMAZING! Book this place for sure, you won't regret it!

Really lovely cabin! The online pictures don’t do it justice. We really appreciated the wine and smores kit, kids games, books, and dvds, and great quiet location. The cabin was close to attractions we wanted to visit like Luray caverns and Shenandoah National Park. We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet area near cute town with hiking

Several hikes are in the close range. Super delicious ice cream spot a few minutes down the road (Peeps). Lots of stars to look at. Keith and Sarah go above and beyond to ensure a satisfying stay and felt like guests. Thank you!!

We booked this cabin so our family could unwind after my daughter’s graduation from JMU. Upon arrival we were greeted with a smores kit and a bottle of wine. The day of graduation we had a low-key BBQ, corn-hole competition, and just relaxed in private which was perfect for our family. The cabin was clean and well-appointed. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. It’s within 1/2 hour from Harrisonburg and less than 10 minutes from historic Strayer House.

Perfect Cabin Getaway!

My partner and I had the most wonderful weekend at this charming cabin! It was impeccably clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. We were especially delighted to find a s’mores station all set up and a bottle of wine waiting for us in the fridge—such a thoughtful touch! The attention to detail made our stay extra special. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this gem for a cozy getaway!

Stay in New Market

Great stay close to Luray and Shenandoah NP entrance. Cabin had everything we needed to rest comfortably. Wish there was more signage on the road to the house, but we found our way. Would stay again :)
