Affordable stay

This is an affordable, clean, and pet friendly hotel. Not too far from Downtown. The room was clean, but is outdated. We had no issues with noise. There is no elevator only stairs.

The cleanliness of the hotel was very questionable. The floor was damp for our entire stay and there was a musty smell in our room. I would not recommend staying here.

We reserved two rooms. One room didn’t have hot water. The carpet was so dirty my beige socks were completely black after a very short time. Pillows were so thin and worn. Base of toilets were nasty. Very old property that is very long over due for a face lift.

This property is awful. We could not. Heck out soon enough. The mattress is horrible. The front desk clerk was extremely slow. The bathroom was really coming apart. The bathtub is peeling and the toilet wouldn’t flush right. The shower water pressure was a trickle. The door wouldn’t shut all the way. There were no blankets on the bed. The housekeeping staff was so loud at 7 am. They were yelling and playing loud music while they cleaned. They were also slamming doors. At 7:15 while we were still in that awful bed, the housekeeper banged on the door to clean the room. We had not even checked out yet. We will never stay there again. Save your money. Don’t stay there if you actually want to sleep.

Quiet, but isolated and not much nearby

Overall, very good. The rooms are a bit dated and some obvious wear is evident. My chair had the back ripped, wear and scrpae marks on the wall and furniture wand carpet worn. Painted side of bathtub peeling badly and some rust on metal door frame of bathroom. But the bed was comfortable, Heat worked well and the area is QUIET. Only 3 minute drive to the ferry that takes you to downtown. One big minus, no restaurants around anywhere.

We really liked being able to leave our car on property for the duration of our cruise, for free. The area around the hotel is not nice. Room was old looking, not super clean and looked worn out. But we got what we paid for- inexpensive one night stay and left our car during our week long cruise.

Old facility, but kept in good shape. Rooms are quiet. Feels a bit damp, but this is New Orleans after all. All employers were helpful and friendly.

Staff was exceptional and friendly! Beds were clean and comfortable. Air worked great. Bathroom was run down-needed a shower head. Kitchenette microwave handle was broken. But comfort of beds and staff made it worth the stay and it served our purpose for traveling. I also felt very safe and loved that they were dog friendly.
