The property itself was nice and clean and had plenty of room for our group. There are a couple of restaurants nearby and others that are a good walk away. We discovered on check in that the refrigerator in our unit did not work and immediately reported this to Roami. As there were no other units available, their solution was to provide a mini fridge that was barely was big enough for milk and yogurt and it was not brought over until the next day. We had food in a cooler and this did not solve the problem. Mutually agreeable compensation was not offered. All communication was initiated by us and no proactive follow up took place from Roami customer service. Aside from that problem, the property was well maintained and common areas cleaned daily. Check in/ out was all virtual and easy , exterior and interior doors have keypads and codes were provided ahead of our stay.
We stayed 4 days and didn't know the areas too well. After staying at Roami, we realized how great the location was for us. Not in the heart of all the partying so quiet enough to chill at night. The room was beautiful and clean. There is no reception, but the communication was consistent and reliable through texts. Would come here again.
Wonderful location that is central to so much. Loved our stay here. Beautiful decor. Spacious. Super comfortable beds!!! Check in could be an hour earlier like most hotels and our bedroom door could not close all the way but not a big deal. Would definitely stay here again!
This is a bit of a mixed bag. Would I stay here again? Maybe.
The location is very convenient. It's easy to get into with the codes they send. The area feels fairly safe (it's New Orleans and everything is relative...)
The rooms are *huge*. I have friends who live in smaller apartments than this. We had a 2 bedroom place and it was very spacious. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and cloakroom. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, and the lounge room comfy.
A bit of maintenance is needed. One bedroom had a door that wouldn't close (the door was about 0.3" too wide to fit into the doorframe, somehow). Several lights didn't work, including in the bathroom.
The rooms are not quiet. One bedroom faces out onto the street, and you could hear pretty much everything going on down there. (Especially the one night when the city was doing roadworks until early morning). There are no curtains, just roller blinds which let some light in at night time too. The other bedroom has a lovely exposed timber ceiling which looks great until you realise you're looking at the floor the people above you are walking around on. I could hear their conversations and bodily functions which was distracting when I was trying to sleep.
Should you stay here? If you need two bedrooms, you could certainly do worse than this place. Are you a light sleeper who needs whisper quiet silence at night time? Definitely not. Can you put up with some noise? Then sure.
All up, mixed bag but OK.
Our stay at the Roami Luzanne was excellent. The communication was great. The management took care of any questions and issues in an expedient manner. The location is great, walkable to excellent restaurants, art gallerys and the french quarter.
We loved the location of this property and the bright comfortable space to relax. It was clean with a well appointed kitchen. The bedroom is also blackout dark for a restful sleep. The washer/dryer worked well and when we needed new door batteries and a lightbulb the service was prompt and convenient. I don't give this a full 5 stars because several of the Roami links for check in did not work. When I did receive the instructions they were clear and accurate.
The location is great, the setup is amazing, however the smoke detector battery was beeping every minute. We couldn't sleep. We reached out 4 times to the hotel (starting at 3 PM) without answer until the morning of checkout. Also my toilet was broken and didn't flush.
Needless to say, myself and my staff couldn't sleep. A real shame because it was a nice hotel otherwise.
I was not in the unit I thought I originally booked, based on the pictures. Overall the unit was nice. The toilet and bathroom light were not working. I called and was told maintenance would come the following morning and no one came to fix the either issues. Decent property overall. The coffee was really good!
I had an amazing stay at this apartment! The industrial look gave it a unique charm, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. The host was quick to respond to any questions. Thereâs an amazing restaurant right across the street with the best espresso martinis Iâve ever had. The location is unbeatable, with a short walk to the casino, Canal, and Bourbon Street. Highly recommend!
