Historic condo located in the Arts / Warehouse District of New Orleans with wrap around balcony. The perfect location for St. Charles Ave. / Uptown Route parades during Carnival Season. A quick walk to Superdome, Smoothie King Center Arena or Convention Center for our beloved Saints football, NBA Pelican Basketball team and so many concerts and events, as well as conventions, trade shows and expos.

The Space:
Discover the allure of this exquisite 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condominium, boasting a captivating blend of historic charm and modern comforts. Nestled in the heart of New Orleans, this residence features an open concept living room, dining room, and kitchen, adorned with original brick walls that exude the city's distinctive character. The wraparound balcony offers a picturesque view, creating a perfect setting for relaxation.

Our building is surrounded by a plethora of restaurants, coffee shops, and lively bars and grills—all within a convenient 4-block stroll. Immerse yourself in history with the must-visit World War II Museum just 3 blocks away. Witness the transformation of original warehouses, once storing goods from Port of New Orleans Steamships, now charming residential spaces that embody the district's rich heritage.

Getting Around:
Walking is the best way to get around in the downtown New Orleans area and when you get tired, rideshare (Uber/Lift/KrewCar) and taxis are generally readily available. Or hop on one of our famous streetcars to see two major routes throughout the city. The St. Charles Ave. streetcars are Green and head away from downtown on St. Charles Ave, into the Garden District, where you will see the beautifully maintained mansions, passing Loyola and Tulane Universities, Audubon Park, and the Audubon Zoo. Red Streetcars travel along Canal Blvd. from the Mississippi River out to City Park. The streetcars are cash only, unless you buy a pass.
The Hop on Hop off tour busses circulate around some of the more popular areas of downtown and offer pickup every 30 minutes.
The Algiers Ferry is a fun way to get across the river. It runs from Canal Street to Algiers throughout the day. Algiers is small and very walkable. Enjoy a quick bite to eat or just enjoy walking through the historic houses.

Bicycle rentals are also a great way to get around and can be rented from various locations throughout downtown. There are bike rental options like Blue Bike with multiple locations throughout the city and tour companies that have guided bike tours.

We came to town for a convention. It was only a ten minute walk to the Center. There is a bar, The Little Easy, downstairs which was great to stop in and have a cocktail. The unit is a great size, was stocked with everything we needed.Definitely would stay again and would recommend.

This location made the trip. My wife said where we stayed was her favorite part of Nola. Visited New Orleans 6 times and this why far was the best stay. Highly recommend if you’re wanting a different side of the big easy, but still very close to the action if you want to be a part of it.

This is the PERFECT NOLA vacation rental! Coffee on the balcony, street cars out the front door, the French Quarter and Musuems right out your door! 4 adults shared this wonderful home and there was plenty of room! It was secure, clean and very well decorated. Everything was done to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable! THIS will be our home away from home whenever we are in New Orleans!!

Best location ever

This is a wonderful place to stay. Centrally located. Right off the St. Charles streetcar line. Get an easy pass from the RTA website and ride as much as you want- you can go to the Garden district or to Bourbon street and the stop is right outside. Great decor and furniture. Lovely balcony that we used daily. We would stay here again!

Our experience here was perfect! Great communication and all went smooth and as advertised. Balcony is great far enough enough away from the noise of Bourbon St. though close enough to enjoy it. We walked down to that area most of time 4 days we actually only Ubered one time. Comfy beds and great common area to socialize with our friends. It accommodated my fiancé and the couple we traveled with perfectly.

Excellent New Orleans location!

My first thought when booking a VRBO is, "what are the pictures not showing me?" With this property, what you see is what you get, and then some. Beautiful rooms, well appointed kitchen, everything you could need right at hand, it was perfect. Barbara was very attentive during booking and check-in, and let me know of an event happening down the street during our stay that we might want to check out. The location is convenient to parking, a trolley stop, and a great bar downstairs for drinks and food before calling it quits for the night. You won't regret this stay!

Fantastic location

The condo is beautiful. Very clean and well maintained. Much better than a hotel. Excellent location. Far enough away from Bourbon St but close enough to many restaurants and art galleries. Especially great if you are attending a convention at the convention center. Less than a ten minute walk. Both myself and my coworker commented that if we were to visit NOLA again we would choose to stay there.

What a fabulous condo! Within walking distance to almost everything our group wanted to do. Emeril's, Herbsaint and Tommy's close by. And when you just want to relax, enjoy sitting on the balcony watching the streetcars rumble down St Charles. We will definitely be back! I'm anxious to try the new eatery, Pesce!

I highly recommend staying at this property. It was beautiful and immaculately clean. The location was great--quiet, but within short walking distance or 2-minute cab ride of the French Quarter & Bourbon St. The condo had everything we possibly needed or wanted. Amber and Bridget were professional and fantastic to work with and quick to provide recommendations on restaurants and answer whatever questions we had. Overall, it was a first class experience and only hope to stay here again soon.
