North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here.

Mid-City puts you at the center of everything New Orleans has to offer - parades, live music, world-class food, and the kind of energy that stays with you long after you leave. This three-bedroom home is set up for groups who want comfort indoors and a real backyard to come home to at the end of the night.
 
Living space
Natural light moves through the open living area, where you can unwind on the sofa in front of a 70" HDTV loaded with Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Chromecast, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, and Netflix. A dedicated workspace and fast Wifi sit in the common space for anyone who needs to stay connected or catch up on work between adventures. Central air conditioning, central heating, and ceiling fans keep the temperature right no matter the time of year.
 
Sleeping arrangements
Each of the three bedrooms is anchored by a king bed dressed in premium linens. Room-darkening shades, walk-in closets, additional closet space, and dressers give every guest room to settle in properly. With 2.5 bathrooms - including a bathtub and walk-in shower - mornings run smoothly even when the whole group is getting ready at once.
 
Kitchen & dining
The kitchen comes fully equipped for everything from a quick breakfast to a proper dinner. Appliances include a Frigidaire refrigerator, Frigidaire stainless steel electric stove, Frigidaire stainless steel single oven, microwave, dishwasher, and hot water kettle. A drip coffee maker, toaster, baking sheet, wine glasses, and barbecue utensils round out the setup. Cooking basics, dishes, and silverware are all provided. Pull up a chair at the dining table and enjoy a meal in - or pack it up and take the party outside.
 
Outdoor living
The fully fenced private backyard is one of the standout features of this home. Gather around the fire pit on a cool evening, fire up the private gas BBQ grill, or set up a game of cornhole on the lawn. Outdoor furniture gives the space a proper hangout feel. Two covered off-street parking spaces are included at no charge, and an on-site Level 2 EV charger is available on the property (daily fee applies).
 
Family-friendly features
Traveling with young children? A pack 'n play/travel crib and a folding or convertible high chair are both available upon request. Babysitter recommendations can also be provided. A free in-unit washer and dryer handle laundry without any extra trips out.
 
Home safety
Exterior Ring cameras are located on the outside of the property and have no view of any interior spaces. The home is also equipped with a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit for peace of mind throughout your stay.
 
Location
Trader Joe's is close by for easy grocery runs, and the home sits steps from the Endymion parade route - a prime spot for Mardi Gras. The Canal Streetcar, French Quarter, Superdome, and Bourbon Street are all within walking distance, putting concerts, sporting events, and Essence Fest right on your doorstep.
