there over NYE week- so it was a busy time in the FQ. Pros were location close to the action: bars, eateries, shopping, trolley, etc....and larger space than a hotel room for two couples traveling together for less than we would have had to pay had we chosen a hotel. 3Legged Dog is dive bar next door, and we went there several times for snacks & BOGO adult bev. Things I wish were different: you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other, & the rear bedroom has an exterior door to the courtyard with a huge gap at the bottom. On the windy days dirt would blow in even with a draft block in place. courtyard area was not well kept, with crusty forgotten pool floats strewn about, pool running but not clean, etc. Security for the unit really could have been better - has a locking front entry gate - but the metal mesh on the gate is bent to where someone has obviously reached in and unlocked it manually a time or two, and there is just one deadbolt on the unit door with a doorframe that was very worn down. (busy week in FQ so lots of inebriated people roaming through at all hours). a security cam did appear to be in the main entry though(?). kitchen trash area had a rust colored dusty film all over it when we arrived. Shampoo dispenser in unit pictures just had water in it, no actual soap-so don't bank on that being available. Vanity cabinet not clean & stained up bath towel there for our use. nice location, fairly large unit-but not sure I'd stay again.
