Canal Street is one of New Orleansâ most storied and dynamic thoroughfares, a place where the cityâs past and present come together in full color. Once known as the âneutral groundâ dividing the French and American sectors, today itâs the heartbeat of downtown, connecting the French Quarter to the Central Business District and beyond. Lined with grand architecture, historic theaters, and the famous streetcar line, Canal Street offers effortless access to everything that makes New Orleans extraordinary. From here, you can wander to jazz clubs on Frenchmen Street, shop along Magazine Street, or catch a performance at the Saenger Theatre. And when itâs time to slow down, the Mississippi Riverfront and leafy squares provide the perfect contrast to the cityâs lively rhythm. Whether youâre here for the music, the food, the festivals, or the unmistakable spirit that fills the air, Canal Street places you at the center of it all.

The property itself was amazing, very clean and the perfect size for 6 people in New Orleans. There was a little issue getting into the property at the beginning at which time it was difficult to get ahold of the host and VRBO customer service. Once we got that squared away, the rest of the stay was amazing!
Location was excellent! Staying on Canal Street, just 2 blocks from Bourbon Street and about a 5 minute walk to Jackson Square in the heart of the French Quarter was perfect for our family âadult Thanksgiving vacayâ. We had a blast! The condo is well equipped and absolutely lovely. Security was amazing and we will definitely stay here again.
