Room great and location great. I made an error in booking a King bed with 1 adult and 2 children aged 0??. The manager proceeded to say they had no more spare beds and I would have to book another room for $400 or one person sleep on the floor. When I said I would sleep on the floor he managed to find a bed for $40 extra per night. It felt like he was trying to upsell or capitalise on my error to make me spend more. He obviously did not believe my error as many people might do this. I think this could be managed better in terms of communication and trust the guest as genuine first. I did appreciate the new rollaway bed.

This is a fabulous hotel. I started my stay for two nights and extended three more. Very courteous and helpful staff. Rooms were quiet, comfortable beds and very nice sheets and pillowcases. Would highly recommend this place. One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had.

The property was conveniently located at the centre of the city. Good customer service from all staff. The room was clean and tidy. They allow late check-outs (depending on room availability). Overall, good place to stay in New Plymouth.
