As you arrive at the Glamorous Cabana, open the arched gate and enter into paradise. A meandering pathway leads you past lavish landscaping as you enter the courtyard - a pool surrounded by a wonderful patio with a backdrop of sculpted gardens and greenery. The patio offers many seating areas and gathering spaces - lounge in the chaises, congregate around the dining table, enjoy a romantic bistro area, or gather around a firepit - all while soothed by the waterfall cascading into the swimming pool. Can this really be home? It feels like my own private resort!



To the right of the pool is your private cabana. Enter through the sun porch with the whimsical seating - everyone has their own swing. Either swing together on a cozy loveseat or separately in your own hanging chairs. With 3 walls of glass, the sun room surrounds you with those wonderful views - gardens, greenery, and a waterfall into the glimmering pool.



Open the French doors; enter your private oasis. The space is stunning - soaring ceilings, soothing colors, and splendid furnishings - all welcome you into an elegant escape. Above the queen bed, a chandelier sparkles. Across from the bed, a fireplace glows. The bed welcomes you with a sea of cozy pillows - just perfect for snuggling. Peaceful and Relaxing!

We enjoyed a lovely little Anniversary getaway. The accommodations and lounging poolside simply cannot be beat- everything was so beautiful and peaceful! We also got to meet the sweetest Kipling as we were departing for home, another delightful surprise. We so thoroughly enjoyed our time there- our only complaint is we had to leave! :)

Beautiful, but slightly misleading

The property is beautiful. The proximity to Plum Island and downtown Newburyport was perfect. But I think what they don’t disclose in the listing is that this Cabana is about 25 feet away from a house where people live. They don’t show it in any of the photos, but you are very much in somebody’s backyard. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful sanctuary, this isn’t exactly my idea of that. The home owners are very exposed to you and you to them. I think the listing should mention that. That being said, I absolutely love the presence of the friendly dog wagging its tail at my door! The pool is absolutely beautiful. Another note the house is right on a busy street so you do hear a lot of traffic. Positives: Beautiful and clean, and the property managers were very attentive.

Great Spot

Our stay was excellent. The space inside and out was as pictured. Very relaxing and peaceful yet close enough to downtown to walk. We typically are constantly out exploring the local area during our mini vacations, but we found ourselves spending time enjoying the pool and outdoor space at this VRBO because it was so nice. We would recommend this host to any couple looking for a romantic private space with amenities.

Weekend Getaway

Loved the cabana and Newbury port and Plum Island! The Cabana is perfectly located and a short distance to town and beach. The Cabana is quaint, well decorated and comfortable for one or two. The grounds are beautiful and it is very quiet at night. This is probably the cutest, coziest listening I have ever stayed in. Wake ip and enjoy coffee in sitting area or by pool. We will return! Our stay was very nice. It is a beautiful property. It was very clean and full of charm. The neighborhood surrounding the property was beautiful as well. Very convenient location. Just a short drive to many fine shops and restaurants. Would love to visit again sometime.

Gorgeous Cottage that was perfect for the two of us. The hostess was very nice and accomodating to any issue we had...which was us figuring out how to turn on the heat. It was quiet and comfortable and will definitely stay again.

The property/cabana was beautiful. Unfortunately the owners decided to do major construction which included an excavator tearing cement out of the ground less than ten feet from our heads. Starting in the morning until after 5pm! So much for our ‘romantic getaway’. If I had guests coming to stay,(and paying what I make in a month to stay) I would not schedule construction on those days. It was very distracting and annoying!

Relaxing Couples Get-Away

This is a beautiful property - exactly as described. The outdoor space was gorgeous with plenty of spaces for sitting or lounging by the pool. We stayed at Glamorous Cabana in May, before the Memorial Day holiday, so a little early for us fit the pool or sunbathing. We did a lot of seashore hopping in the area coastal towns, trails, and islands so we mostly enjoyed our evening wine & beer in the awesome porch swings with the pool waterfall as the background sound. The kitchenette was well-stocked to accommodate the two of us with 2 of everything. And we loved the little “treat” left in the refrigerator for us by our host!! Our host was so considerate and thought of everything! Kitchen supplies, extra towels, cutting boards, cork screw, ice packs, comfy lounging blankets - it was a lovely home away from home!! The proximity to things was also amazing! We were able to walk the rail trail from the house to Joppa Flats, had our morning breakfast in downtown Newburyport arriving in less than 10 minutes, and very efficiently made our way to Plum Island & Castle Hill for day trips. We would have loved to use the fireplace, but did not need it. We enjoyed open windows with chirping birds instead. My husband was recovering from knee surgery during our visit and found the cabana lovely with spaces for stretching, and easy to get into and around. We loved everything about this well-appointed space!!

Kipling's House

Very nice just as described, homeowners were super helpful and nice. Kipling showed me where to go when i got in. He wont demand attention, but likes playing fetch and belly rubs. Hope to come back soon!

The pool house was beautiful, easily accessible to downtown Newburyport. The gift of Chardonnay in the fridge was lovely. Very private and roomy. My only complaint is that the bed is a very uncomfortable pull out sofa.

Beautiful Stay!

Amazing Cabana! Better than a five star stay. I have stayed in Newburyport many times visiting family in the area. This property is perfect for a single or couples getaway! Charming residential area, close to downtown and the beach. Impeccably decorated, comfortable and spotless. The lovely pool with a waterfall and gas fire pit off the steps of your own porch was a relaxing oasis. The owner and manager were very attentive to your needs. Absolutely loved the privacy and amenities! I am looking forward to returning.
