Room needed some attention, dripping shower, slow emptying sink, broken blind and needed more light. Beds extremely comfortable and in a fab location for the city centre. Room was clean.

A beautiful hotel with a great pub. Great service. Newbury is wonderful. Walking distance to everything. We wil definitely be back.

We checked in late, and the staff were super friendly and helpful! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the dinners. The pub has such a cozy atmosphere, and the chef and waitress were amazing. Big thanks to the manager too for keeping a table for us without a booking — really appreciated! Overall, a lovely place with great service. We’re so glad we chose to stay here!

Small but perfectly formed

I had a nice small room in the hotel, lots of shops in Newbury and lots of places to eat and drink, and a nice stroll to the racecourse.

Location is convient for walking to many shops. The WFi sign in app is not user friendly. Hint, to specify the year of your birth you touch the present year (2025) and only then will other earlier years appear for selection.
