I love staying at The Copthorne. I actually got married there 20 years ago. The hotel is looking very tired and could do with a bit of a makeover. Staff are great

Stayed many times and love the views of the river and the availability of parking, although it is expensive. Friendly, helpful staff. Good restaurants nearby and only a short walk into Newcastle.

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Main areas of hotel nice and modern. Breakfast good quality and plentiful. Bedroom decor slightly dated. Temperature of room on the cool side, but portable radiator provided. Stains on bedding, not really acceptable for cost of the room
