Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is very convenient, a short walk from the metro station and easy access to all areas of the city on foot. Some of the stairs are a little steep but it is an old buidling retaining much of the original features so it is to be expected. Hoovering could have been better but generally clean and tidy

Location is great - walkable to many restaurants, pubs , train station and to the River Tyne. The room was clean and the staff was nice and helpful. Will definitely stay at this property again.

It was a nice big room well decorated and comfortable but the sink wouldn’t drain at all quickly and the sink had been badly damaged and not repaired very well. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was fine. I think there was some refurbishment of the ground floor going on so it didn’t seem a place to hangout. A great location but on a busy junction.

Lord Collingwood suite was very njce. Unfortunately it is 'duplex' and accessed by a full flight of stairs. I found this very difficult. The room itself was lovely as were all the staff. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is ideal for all that Newcastle has to offer.

The room smelt a bit funny on arrival. Comfortable beds also lovely towels. Not a very good view from the room, we were on the fourth floor. Window needed refurbishing. No power from the shower. Brilliant breakfast & service. Good value for the money we paid. Great location.
