Ocean view out the window was very limited by big buildings, but it is walking distance to a whale watching stretch of the beach. It was quiet at night, so we could hear the ocean. Good location close to Bay shops and restaurants.

Sweet but could use some love

Nye Haven was great. Clean situated in a great area. Plenty of room, hot water, fresh towels. The place needs a bit of love though. Kind of run down. Pillows and bedding very worn. Needs a good spring clean and a trip to Walmart for fresh bedding and brighter look. Calls for help with the lock and a few other questions were handled promptly and professionally.

Great stay

This place was great. Walked to beach and Nye Beach restaurants, great location. Our dog loved the morning walks. Only comment for owners is that the stove top burners smelled quite bad when heated. Otherwise the place was clean and had a good set of kitchen utensils and appliances. Would definitely stay here again!

The basics in a great neighborhood

This little attached condo has everything you need. The living room and kitchen were nicely appointed. However, we couldn’t figure out how to get the TV to work with the cable box (even Gen Y was mystified). The beds are basic and firm with enough linens and pillows to make them comfortable. They are on wheels and lack headboards, so sitting in bed to read was a bit strange as the bed would start inching away from the wall. Heat is provided by baseboard heaters that worked well. The condo is in a quiet neighborhood (at least in April) and is a 10 minute walk to nice restaurants, ice cream, coffee, bakeries, a performing arts center, book store, etc. Though, in April, not all of these places had hours that are conducive to tourists. The condo has a peak a boo view of the ocean and beach access is a 5 minute walk away. We did enjoy our stay!

Fantastic Location and Quiet

A block from the beach and only a few minutes drive to shops. Nice and quiet area. Home could use some updating. Some outlets need replaced so plugs don’t slide out. Also, needs bigger/brighter lights/lamps and bedrooms need curtains that can be drawn over blinds at night since shades have a gap in the middle. Overall a great stay.

small quiet getaway

We have stayed at this location 2 times and we like it as it is close to the beach and shopping. We were also able to walk to the local farmers marker with a variety of items for sale.
