Decent hotel a little old, very quiet and clean, wifi good, good breakfast. Plenty bars restraunts close by, entrance to car park tight parking out front on main road but parking spaces go quick, definitely would stay again.
Very run down and tired. Everything in the room was past its best or broken. Bed was dreadful, very thin old sprung mattress, felt every lump! No bar, no restaurant, no beer garden. Breakfast was the only plus point.
No bar 6months..no resteraunt 3 yrs..( not stated in booking page) 1st room window didnt close.. Moved to another room where radiator only worked 1st and 3rd. Third.. 2nd third stone cold...

Renovations underway but at present very tired looking.
Should be about £40 a night. Really run down place, needs a lot of work and felt unclean. Would be fair enough if it was priced accordingly but £73 a night is way off compared to what can be had elsewhere for that sort of price. I guess there are limited options in the town though so it’s a captive market. I would definitely avoid unless you have no choice or can negotiate a reasonable price.
We received adequate service from staff some friendly some not. The accommodation was appalling- run down in dire need of renovations please view photos to explain
The hotel was barely manned, restaurant closed, bath water was yellow and the shower didn't work

Rather basic, unhelpful manager when we asked for short (30min) extension to checkout time.
Room - whole hotel really - lacking charm, pretty shabby, broken down.
Breakfast little choice but adequate.
