This apartment was adequate and in a good location, but it was different than advertised. I have re-read the description and there is no indication that we might get anything other than what was advertised. For us, an issue was the bathroom. The picture shows a shelf, a bowl sink and enough space between the sink and the toilet for a toilet paper dispenser to fit. The actual bathroom is missing the shelf, has a regular sink and the toilet is so close to the sink, you may have to sit sideways to use it. The flooring is a different colour (light beige) than the add and there is a cabinet in the kitchen instead of a shelf with a TV on it (TV mounted to wall). The view from the kitchen window looks out onto a courtyard with a red roof where as the advertised picture looks out onto a street. To me these seem like two different apartments. The apartment was generally clean although the kitchen could use a more thorough cleaning. There was a layer of dust on the oven vent, the electric hob has a build up of grease on the knobs and around the edges and the kitchen cabinets fronts and window curtains need a good wash. Perhaps we should have reached out to the owner right away, but we made it work as we were going to be there for the duration of our stay anyhow. It was sufficient enough for our needs and did not ruin a great time in Nice. I would not likely rent this apartment again without knowing exactly what we were getting.
