Kleinhoef, a charming farmhouse in the countryside, close to Amsterdam

This farm from 1875 is an ideal place to relax, surrounded by greenery along the Vecht river. At the same time, it is a perfect starting point for trips to Amsterdam and Utrecht, or cycling and walking tours through the Dutch landscape.

The Opkamer and the Tuinkamer are luxurious and charming guest rooms, each with their own character. Both rooms consist of a spacious bedroom with their own sanitary facilities: a washing stand, a comfortable shower and a separate toilet. The Tuinkamer has its own small living area.

The large farmhouse kitchen is fully equipped, including oven and dishwasher. An inviting space for pleasant evenings at the large table. Attached to the kitchen is the living room, with a view on the meadows.
When the weather is nice you can choose from two terraces: a morning terrace on the southeast and an evening terrace on the west. Sunshine all day long, with a view over the garden and the meadows.

The farm is located on a country road on the river De Vecht. There is a private jetty with a wooden swimming ladder on the river and it is wonderfully safe and clean swimming water. The farm is located in the meadows all around. With a bit of luck you will see the kingfisher darting over the ditch, hear the tawny owl or the long-eared owl chicks or even see the ermine in the wild garden.

A walk along the Vecht and over the Liniebrug will take you to Fort Nigtevecht and the old polders of the Dutch Waterline. You can easily reach the Loosdrechtse Plassen by bike. The Gein is also nearby, with the beautiful Botshol on the other side of Abcoude. Towards the north you will find the Naardermeer, a nature reserve of Natuurmonumenten.
