Nestled on the banks of the Saint Joe River, Niles may seem un-assuming but turn a page in history to its more nefarious past. With ease of river access and escape, plenty of natural amusement, and close proximity to larger cities it has sheltered the likes of both Butch Cassidy and Al Capone. Our historic home has been lovingly remodeled to fully provide an escape from the world. Stocked with all you need for criminal luxury. You`ll only need to leave if the gumshoe gets close.
Our lovingly renovated historic home is close to everything you need for a refuge away. Walking distance to miles of the Saint Joe River Walk, cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, breweries, gyms and even a classic hometown movie theater.
It also is near larger attractions...Lake Michigan beaches, the Wine Trail, outdoor recreation, Notre Dame, South Bend, Saint Joe, and all that pure Michigan has to offer.
This is a three-unit home with free street as parking as a side parking spot for unit 1 which is this unit.
You share a main entrance with units 1 and 2 but also have your own side entrance. Larger parties up to 10 can rent all three units and open up the whole house as it was originally built.
Beautifully redone but also acknowledged as a historic home with its quirks and charms...but we think that`s part of its personality. We hope you do too.
We take pride in re-livening old houses and have provided all the lux extras. 100% linen sheets, fully stocked kitchen, fluffy towels and an eclectic edgy decor to help you build all your home away from home hideout memories.
The front and unit doors are all secured with a key pad. You have a front access as well as a side access. You will receive an access code on day of check-in after housekeeping is finished with the house.
I live in a neighboring town and also have a full time assistant to help you with anything you might need during your stay. I am available but allow complete privacy to my guests.
This unit has a room with a king bed and another with twin bunk beds. We have VERY comfy beds.
However, it should be noted that the only bathroom in this unit is THROUGH the twin bedroom.
Also, the original pocket door can stick but is to beautiful and historic to not keep, we have installed handles that if pulled down on while shut work well.
We have parking on the side of this unit that is off street for one or two small cars. But additional street parking is free on the North side of the house.
This is a three unit historic home and some noise may be heard from other units. Please be considerate of neighbors and respect the quiet times of 10pm-8am.
