Nestled in a little hamlet in the stunning South Charente, between vineyards and sunflower fields, this beautifully renovated Charentaise farmhouse (with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a large kitchen/dining, a lounge, a games room, terraces, a large heated private pool and mature garden) is the perfect holiday home or base for events / weddings guests at nearby Château de Lerse for those after peace and quiet without compromising comfort and style.
It's perfect for families as we are very kid-friendly (wih all the equipment you need!).

Peaceful location just a 5 minute drive to local amenities. Sleeps 9 people comfortably with 4 spacious bedrooms (3 ensuite and one with detached bathroom). All modern comforts in a traditional stone building.

Charentaise farmhouse featuring generous room sizes and high ceilings; fully refurbished to a high standard with design led décor yet retaining many original features - fireplaces, stone and oak beams. The contemporary kitchen complete with range cooker is ideal for creating feasts to be enjoyed at the large dining table. Relax in the elegant lounge with choice of comfy chairs; enjoy a book or DVD from the extensive library. Head for the games room, complete with snooker, table football, TV, bean bags, games for all ages and toys for little ones.

Upstairs are 3 bright and spacious bedrooms, 2 en-suite (soak in the luxury free-standing bath in the master!) And one with detached bathroom ans walk-in shower.
The 4th large bedroom is downstairs and is another en-suite with walk in shower and sofa. It has its own entrance, terrace and garden.

Take advantage of the sunny climate in the tranquil gardens with a large (10*5m) heated and private swimming pool and stunning views; pick some fruits from the many fruit trees, take your breakfast on the terrace, or enjoy a game of Pétanque in the courtyard while the BBQ sizzles. Picturesque local towns and villages provide all you need; with lakes, vineyards and Atlantic coast to explore.

Being a traditional house with thick stone walls it is pleasantly cool in the summer so there is no need for air conditioning; and with roaring log fires and under floor heating its cosy and warm in the cooler months.
