The police were called for a disruption on the floor we weee located. We didn’t see any hotel staff but finally heard the police announce “Norfolk Police”. The ice machine was not working on several floors. Windows did not open to allow fresh air.

This hotel was highly rated on Expedia. While the staff were very friendly; where the hotel fell seriously short was cleanliness. When we checked into our room (that had a musty odour) and opened the bathroom door a cockroach ran out. This is a hard no for us (obviously). We immediately went back downstairs and promptly requested a refund. The front desk clerk was very friendly and apologetic and there was no issue getting our refund. If you don’t like cockroaches I do not reccomend this hotel.

The hotel was generally good but did not provide breakfast (as was indicated) and added a hidden parking fee, which seemed very unnecessary considering the very large parking lot and a way to add cost to the hotel stay in a very disingenuous way.
