Guests have access to the entire home and off-street parking for two vehicles in tandem in the dedicated driveway beside the home.
The garage is used for owner`s storage and is off limits to guests.

Park Circle:
Less than ten miles north of Downtown Charleston, Park Circle is a lively community with unique character. A top local destination with a distinct neighborhood vibe, Park Circle is a planned community that dates back to the early 1900s. As its name suggests, Park Circle is anchored by a central circular park which is echoed by several other nearby green spacesâincluding the cityâs own disc golf course, which is free to the public.
Known today as North Charlestonâs old âMain Street,â Park Circleâs East Montague Ave. is lined with quite a few storefronts and eateries. Grab a cup of coffee, pop into some local shops and snag a bite to eat, all without needing to wander too far in this very walkable area.

- 1 minute walk to Mixson neighborhood shops, cafes, and the Paradiso pool club - 3 minute drive to the Park Circle Playground (the world`s largest inclusive playground) and Park Circle Disc Golf Course - 4 minute drive to the Firefly Distillery, South Carolina`s oldest working distillery where concerts, events, and tastings are held - 4 minute drive to East Montague Ave. and Spruill Ave. restaurants/bars/shops - 8 minute drive to Riverfront Park, where many festivals and events are held, including the yearly High Water Music Festival - 9 minute drive to Charleston International Airport and Tanger Outlet Mall - 15 minute drive to Downtown Charleston - 25 minute drive to Isle of Palms/Sullivan`s Island beaches
A vehicle is needed to fully explore the Charleston area as public transportation is not convenient.
There are two dedicated off-street parking spaces for two vehicles parked in tandem beside the home.
Uber/Lyft are readily available should you choose to leave your vehicle parked.
LAUNDRY FACILITIES
There is not a washer/dryer onsite, as stated in the list of amenities. There is a laundromat (Mixson Laundromat) a half mile away.
QUIET HOURS
The home is located in a peaceful residential area so please respect the neighbors by observing quiet hours between 10pm-8am
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Your safety and comfort are our priority. In the unlikely event of a MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER FOR CHARLESTON COUNTY during your stay, rest assured that both the Owner/Host and the Property Management Company WILL REFUND 100% OF YOUR PAYMENTS for the dates of evacuation. Once refunded, neither party will have further liability regarding your Reservation.
Please note that ONLY MANDATORY EVACUATIONS WILL QUALIFY FOR REFUNDS. No other travel disruptions due to weather, whether in South Carolina or other states, are eligible. For protection, consider travel insurance, especially in high-risk months like hurricane season. Airbnb`s insurance or other options are recommended.
INSECTS
As Charleston is situated in a warm, coastal climate it is possible to see insects inside or outside of the home at times. These include palmetto bugs, sand gnats, mosquitoes, ants, etc. Those who reside in the Lowcountry just accept this as part of living here but it may be unsettling for those from other areas. The home is treated regularly for pest control but this will not entirely eliminate insects from getting inside at times. Please do your best to not keep doors and windows open and not leave food or drinks out in the home as this will attract insects. FINDING AN INSECT IS NOT CAUSE FOR A REFUND.

Really sweet little home in a great neighborhood. The location was convenient- lots of things within walking distance, plus close to public transportation. We loved the retro-themed, modern kitchen. Adorable dishes! The shower was amazing and we appreciated the fluffy towels and complimentary supplies. The little porch with the red rocking chairs was a great place to enjoy the fantastic weather. Everything was really wonderful. We hope to come again.
Nice place, though it was advertised as being in Park Circle and it is not. About a mile away. The mattress on the bed was soft, but I imagine other guests like that. The shower was fantastic! Water pressure was outstanding.
Vrboâs description of â The Southern Pearlâ, located in a quiet community setting, truly met every one of our expectations. The unit is beautifully appointed, including a well-stocked kitchen (even supplying numerous spices for in-home meals). All furnishings were comfortable, inside and out (we ate our breakfasts and enjoyed evening cocktails outdoors on the spacious deck). We could not have been more delighted in our vacation rental choice and highly recommend âThe Pearlâ!
The property was well managed, clean, and fully equipped. The hosts were respectful and helpful when need be. There was adequate parking and other amenities to make the stay seamless. Highly recommend the Southern Charmed Hospitality Group!
