Children’s Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each summer from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!

Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more!

DVD Rentals - Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. Guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.

Bay Watch has 18 bodies of water including indoor and outdoor lazy rivers. It also features breakfast daily at Bay Watch Cafe located in the center tower. Sandtrap Sports Bar is a guest favorite, open daily. Fishtails is a seasonal pool bar featuring fun cocktails and live entertainment during the warmest seasons. There is also a gift shop selling trinkets and forgotten items to make your trip complete.

Great time at Bay Watch

Staff courteous, and friendly and very helpful! Front lobby, beautiful and staff constantly mopping floors for guest coming in from beach and pool so never dirty or slippery! Enjoyed frozen piña coladas outdoors at Fishtails Beach Bar, and best Philly steak at Sandtrap Sports Bar & Grill….. plus ice cream shop never having to leave the premises!

All the facilities were great! Pools, beach access, bars/restaurants all good! Place was clean! Just wish I would’ve found the broom earlier in the stay. It was hidden in the closet behind the water heater. Place was the perfect size for the 5 of us.

My husband and I enjoyed our month here. The resort is very nice, clean and friendly. Our only fault was a washing machine that leaked and was unusable. We reported it and it was taken apart and left so we had no machine for the month. I however would still recommend this place

Beach Weather in October

The property and swimming areas were well maintained and clean. Our condo was very neat and had everything we needed to prepare meals. The beds were comfortable. The view from the balcony was beautiful! Our only complaint was the door lock system. Doors to the units have key pads and ours kept locking up and we couldn’t get back into the condo. We had to wait for someone to come. We had 3 or 4 different combinations. The worker said this is a common problem? We would come again and hopefully they will have a different lock system.

More good than bad!

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The only problem we had during our stay was that the dryer broke and we had to have repair people from the Bay Watch came no less than five times to try to fix it. Even when we left the dryer wasn’t working at 100%. We stayed for a total of 10 days and a mid stay housekeeping service would have been nice. I understand that with Covid they stay away and don’t clean your room every day, but once during that time would have been nice. The Bay Watch facilities themselves are starting to show their age and could use a refresh, but overall we enjoyed our stay and would happily stay there again.

Great time! Attention to details

Room was really nice! Kitchen backsplash was fairly new and was a nice touch. Room was clean and smelled really good. However, dropped something in the chair and had to lift the cushion. There were pumpkin seeds and chips under the cushion. Also, there were stains on the pillows on the couch. So we did not use them. Just a little extra attention to details needed. We have been coming to Bay Watch for several years. Love the lighted beach at night and we will most definitely be back.

I'd come back

We enjoyed our stay and would come back. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was excellent. No real complaints. We were close to restaurants and gift shops. The restaurant in the hotel had good food and friendly staff.Only down side was not enough luggage carts to move our stuff. Also had to go get our own towels but with Covid guidelines I get it :)

Great Trip

Enjoyed our long weekend at Bay Watch Resort. Staff friendly and helpful. Unit was very clean and kitchen had what we needed. Elevators great (except in parking deck). The food we had at the bar/grill was good. And relatively easy to get my 80+ mom onto the beach. Great trip!

Honeymoon Spot

We first visited Bay Watch Resort and Conference almost four years ago on our honeymoon. It was beautiful then and it's beautiful now. Our room was lovely and clean. We were oceanside and it was just serene. Whenever we go to Mrytle Beach, this is where we will always stay. Kudos to Vacasa, once again you came through! Thank you!
