Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more!

DVD Rentals - Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. Guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.

Bay Watch has 18 bodies of water including indoor and outdoor lazy rivers. Sandtrap Sports Bar is a guest favorite, open daily. Beyond disappointed!!!

Our visit began with an employee sitting out front on her phone having a screaming cuss fight for 5 minutes. When we do get to our room with $300 of groceries our refrigerator isn’t working ( this also happened the last time we stayed ) We tried to call the front desk to tell them but our room phone was not working as well as our TV. We had to use our cell phone to call the main number hotel number . This gave us the new management / booking company that isn’t even on site. The next morning we had to go to the front desk and request something be done about the refrigerator even though a “work order” had already been made for our problem. We finally did get a new / used refrigerator!!!! The hotel is not clean at all!!! The swimming pools are nasty ! Our window in the room that looked out to the hallway was cracked and people were smoking everywhere which made us worry about our safety! While on the beach we heard other people talking about their concerns which were cleanliness and safety and how they would not be returning ! We will not be returning to this hotel!!!!

Will not stay in this unit again

Baywatch 814 is in desperate need of attention. There is rust all over the door, bedroom window seal and side of the refrigerator. Part of the baseboards are missing. The cushions on the couch are completely worn out, making it almost impossible to actually sit on for more than a couple of minutes. The unit had been “cleaned”, but was not very clean when we arrived. The floors were sticky and still had hair and some sand on them, the stove was greasy and had not been wiped down, there was a pretzel stick on the bedroom nightstand and pretzel crumbs all over the balcony. One of our “clean” towels had a gross stain on it. Baywatch does not have a good check-in process in regards to luggage carts and bell-hops. There are very few carts on the property and we saw many people checking in who had to unload their luggage themselves. We loaded our car up to return home at 10pm on Friday night and could not locate a luggage cart, so we made three trips to load everything. Even the manager could not locate a cart for us. We’ve stayed at Baywatch for over a decade and are really disappointed at how it has gone downhill. Unfortunately this will be our last stay at the property.

Good location and ocean front view, but could use some improvements

We like this area of North Myrtle Beach, so the Bay Watch resort is a good location for us. We enjoyed the balcony with oceanfront view in the unit we stayed in. The unit was clean and reasonably comfortable, and it had the basic necessities. The carpet seemed fairly new. The furniture and appliances could use a refresh.

First stay with Vacasa at Bay Watch Resorts in North Myrtle Beach

Easy access and directions to Bay Watch Resorts. Emails of information sent at intervals for smooth stay greatly appreciated. Oceanfront room with balcony was ideally located in Bay Watch Resorts (room located in central tower of three towers). Bay Watch Resorts has it’s own parking garage but it was challenging driving in the garage with the tight turns. You have to wait for someone else to come around. Bonus of Bay Watch Resorts is it has 2 lazy rivers ( 1 indoors and 1 outdoors), 5 hot tubs (4 outdoors and 1 indoors), 3 pools (2 outdoors and 1 indoors), and 2 restaurants and an outdoors bar. Kid and dog friendly. Life guard on beach but not pools. We had a single bedroom with two queen size beds, both hard and noisy when you move. There was a queen size Murphy bed in the livingroom that was more comfortable. There was a hide-a-bed couch which was totally hurt are backs sitting on and trying to get up off the couch. One side chair stiff to sit on. Dining table with four chairs that were comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets desperately need replaced. There was a dishwasher and microwave. Washer and dryer need maintenance and cleaned. The floor could use steam cleaning. The jacuzzi tub had two jets not working and jets needed cleaning. Some residual foam came out with use. All being said we would stay again mainly because of it’s location to Barefoot Landing, Grumpy Monk, Molly Darcy’s, and other local food/conveniences. I forgot the Spa and ice cream/gift shop. We plan to use Vacasa for our next stay.

The resort was very nice and staff extremely helpful. Pools were all great. Everything was very well kept. Our condo did have some concerns mainly with the refrigerator (I think it needs replaced) and the washer and dryer and the main door could use some paint or cleaned. I wish we had been furnished with a small sweeper. All in all we had a great time with our grandkids, they loved it ( ages 16 - 20). Would come back again in a heart beat. Would have given 5 stars but it just wasn't perfect. 4.5 stars.
