The resort assigns the specific unit around the time of check-in so your view may vary. Great short get-a-way

My daughter and I were very pleased with the friendliness of every single staff member we engaged with. We were also impressed with the cleanliness of the room and how well stocked the kitchen was. It was great! Our only complaint was that the only uncovered water amenity was a lazy river. It would have been nice to have another pool that was actually uncovered. We would definitely stay again.

Not what we booked, but still good

I booked an ocean view studio through Home Away/VRBO, but there was a mistake on their end that led to us being put in a boulevard view room. They were nice about it and offered a discount plus 2 extra nights, but we were only able to stay one of those extra nights. And, that really doesn't replace waking up to see the ocean and sitting on the balcony to hear the waves and feel the ocean breeze. :-( ... other than that, it was great! The room was clean with updated decor. Our 4 yr old son had a great time in the pool and lazy river, and getting out to the beach was convenient. The front desk was nice, friendly, and super quick with requests for linen, etc. However, they will spend a lot of time at check-in and during your stay trying to get you to go to the breakfast or lunch to learn about the timeshare options. But when they tried talking to us right after we got back from the beach and couldn't hear over tired, screaming 4 month old and 4 yr old, I think they gave up! Haha ... Overall, it was good, and we had a lot of fun. But, I would be a little hesitant to stay again not knowing if we will actually end up with what we booked. :-/

Beautiful place!

Overall the room was tiny, like smaller than i realized and smaller than any hotel or room I've ever been in BUT it was very nice and comfortable. Much more quiet than I was thinking which is important when you have a 3 month old. Very clean and the staff was nice. We paid extra to have valet service and it was 100% worth it. Sadly we didn't get to explore the resort or beach or pool as we had a short stay for a family be together in Ocean Isle. The only complaint I have is both days the resort called us around 8:00am which was frustrating because it woke our 3 month old up both days and he was super upset and fussy. We wanted to do the timeshare tour but didn't have time unfortunately but maybe next time! Great experience overall. While it was ocean view it's like part ocean view and part city/street view. Not a huge deal for us but if you book it planning on hearing the waves from the room it's not likely.

Great place!

Great room and hotel, super clean! The hotel is a time share building, so when u check in they tried to sell us a little and talk u in to sitting through one of their sales presentations. I would totally recommend doing it, we got 2 free nights to any Wyndham resort and 2 tickets to Myrtle Beach aquarium just for sitting through. Would definitely stay again, great stay.

Great Property but Studio is Small

TOTG is a favorite destination for us at NMB. We normally have stayed in a larger unit. The studio lacks a dishwasher and washer/dryer and therefore was adequate for a 3-night stay, but I would not book it for a week. We were on the 18th floor (of 20) and were bothered by a groaning sort of noise that I think was related to HVAC units on the roof and the unusually high winds. Having to pay a $100 cleaning fee really jacked up the price/night.

We loved our stay. The proximity to beach and pool made for easy relaxation for the adults. Kids went back and forth from pool to beach everyday. Loved grilling near the beach too.

Very clean and we'll maintained.

My husband and I had a great time and the room was beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I only gave 4 stars because I think you need to have handrails in the bathroom in the tubs. The tub was huge and very relaxing it was just hard to get in and out of and I'm not one that usually has any trouble getting in and out of tubs but the tub was very tall so a handrail would have made things safer and easier. Beautiful property and plenty of things to keep everyone busy and entertained during your stay.

Wonderful ocean view room

Property was clean and just as described. The convenience of the location was amazing. Walking distance to grocery store, pizza, breakfast and of course the beach! Would definitely recommend and visit again.
