Heating is only effective when temperatures—day or night—are forecasted to be above 60°F, so we recommend checking the forecast closer to your stay (but at least 5 days prior) before adding heat.

Host was very welcoming and accommodating. All questions were answered promptly. The property was exceptional. Very nice and clean. Large home that was perfect for a large family. Location next to the pier was also a plus. The elevator was also super helpful with my elderly father who was unable to navigate the stairs. Everything about this property was great. I highly recommend it.

The house was gorgeous, clean, roomy - just as beautiful as the pics show in the advertisement. We were so impressed by the responsiveness of Baskaway, when we needed anything - they responded immediately and were at the house within 30 mins+. We HIGHLY recommend this house, it was a perfect location, and we had a prime view of the fireworks on the Cherry Grove pier.We will def use Baskaway for our next beach trip.

We had a great time at Serenity Hideaway, now for the second year in a row. The location can't be beat (right on the sand) and the amenities are great. A few small things I would recommend the owner fix (passed most of these on last year, but he/she did not make any changes, so now I'll do it publicly):1. The lawn is thin, gets mowed every 2 weeks, and is loaded with sand spurs. Just bite the bullet and sod it, or put in artificial turf. Either would be way better. We basically had to carry our kids over it to get to the beach because of the sand spurs.2. Something was up with the pool. Kept getting algae in it. Not sure the equipment is working properly, or perhaps the pool company isn't up to par. But it's not hard to keep a small saltwater pool algae-free.3. There are no black-out curtains in the whole house. This makes no sense to me. Put blackout curtains at minimum in all the bedrooms that face the ocean (4!) so that it's not bright as day before 6am all summer...4. For the price you pay, the living room furniture is pretty bad. Super lumpy and uncomfortable, basically every piece in there. Just get some new ones and that will go a long way. 5. Small things, just as an FYI for PM company: wifi really only works well on main floor. Doesn't work at all on top floor. Smoke detector is extremely sensitive. Goes off if you cook bacon even with the doors open :). The silver thing at the base of the stove falls off if you lightly touch it, and it's pretty loud when it does.
