The property is very old and maintenance is very poor. They are just running it with everything old things in the property. The noise is coming from everything, shower tub, air conditioner, next door room, outside. Spring mattress is another noisy and uncomfortable. I will never recommend such property to anyone.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location is great for Mystic and the surrounding areas. The rooms are large as well as the bathrooms. The overall cleanliness was lower then expected, we had a non smoking room that still had a strong ordor of smoke that remained during the entire stay in the room and that was especially strong in the bathroom. Our rooms's mini fridge was missing parts (the bar that normally holds milk or other items in place on the door), the bathroom vanity was broken in several spots, wall paper was pealing in several locations, some windows were unable to be opened (missing handles and latches) and there was mold spots on the screen and shower room wall/ceiling as well. Overall an ok stay, good for a quick stop if you are traveling through the area.

Clean room. Beautiful tub. Quiet. The only down-side was it was raining and we couldn’t find our room in the dark. The directions given to find it were not super clear. Perhaps a map with a line drawn on it would have helped. Many hotels do this. We were soaked by the time we found it. The numbers don’t really make sense. We were up and out before sun up so we didn’t really get to see much but it looked really cute. Reasonably priced. And the bed was comfortable !! That never happens for me. I would stay here again.

Not worth it

The room was dirty, the beds were sunken in, the fridge wouldnt close because the ice build up on the inside was too big. There was not enough linens for everyone.

The place was ok. The rooms can definitely be updated but they were clean. The bed was a bit weird the top mattress was bigger that the box spring so if you sat at the edge it sloped downwards. But overall no complaints at all.

Well, the exterior was decent and parking was convenient as soon as we were able to get in to the room had a weird smell. Beds were super uncomfortable. The toilet couldn’t flush. The shower didn’t work properly. Ceiling tiles were falling off. The AC was too good. it was so cold. It was arctic And that was a decent temp Went to check in and reservation disappeared. I had it on my Expedia app. They accommodate us but the room was 40 years old.

The room was moldy smelled bad bad wallpaper from the chewed up cabinet stunk so bad I threw up we left drove home 2hours later I suggested that they burn all these down really not worth it.

The hot tub jets were so loud that it rendered it basically unusable. Walls are very thin so the kids fighting and partying all night long, in the adjoining room, was a problem.

Beware! We stayed here a few times in the past and it was decent but this time it had been about 5 years since we had stayed there. The first room was obviously not cleaned well and the fridge was stuck shut. We pried it open and the frost was so thick it had formed ice keeping the door from closing again and there were no controls on the tub so I went to the office and got another room. That one was slightly better, still no controls on the tub, they rigged it with a light switch to turn on. Hubby spilled something on the floor and when I wiped it up the cloth was completely brown, the floor was very dirty and the grout lines were full of dirt. I did ask for housekeeping to mop due to the sticky area we caused but it was still not clean after the “mopping”. The lights crackled when turning on and the ceiling leaked over the bed when the room upstairs used the tub. One lamp would randomly turn off and back on. The outside was also dirty. Cobwebs on the top of the doorway, lint and what appeared to be a hairball on the welcome mat AND we crossed a patch of grass to sit on a bench and hubby stepped in dog poop! The staff was nice and accommodating but that’s the only good thing they have going for them.

The listing for the hotel was not congruent with the actual experience. The room was dirty, had holes in the halls, water stained ceiling tiles, and smelled like mildew. We felt like we were sleeping in a dirty basement. The smell alone was so disgusting.
