Another excellent stay.

Third time in Brundell with Norfolk Holiday Lodges and second stay at Ferry Lodge. Lovely location on the river especially if you like fishing. Great accommodation with plenty of space. Large deck to watch the boats go by and lots of places to eat outside. Many amenities nearby. We'll be back.

Lovely lodge . Beautiful setting

We spend the week at the lodge which was lovely decorated for Christmas . Very clean . Presents for us and the dogs which was a nice touch . Had a great week. Only gripes are that the WiFi isn’t fantastic and the beds and pillows were too soft and have me a bad back and neck but that’s probably says more about me ! Thank you

Ferry Lodge

Beautiful lodge & location. So relaxing, warm, comfortable, modern and well equipped. Tina is lovely and very helpful, and available should you need anything, not that we did. Always lovely to see her. Would love to keep this all to ourselves, hence why we have rebooked to come back twice more so far. Thank you for a lovely stay

Winter half term break

My family thoroughly enjoyed their stay at Ferry Lodge. By hiring a boat my husband and grandson enjoyed fishing trips on Bargate Broad. The lodge was warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable - the seating in the living room was quite low for me - however fine for those who are younger. Would rebook and recommend.

A beautiful lodge in a stunning location

We spent a week here in September ‘24 and what a lovely, relaxing week it was. Ferry Lodge was a home from home with everything we needed. Beautifully presented, clean and with the most beautiful views. We really didn’t want to leave. Tina was so helpful with the launch of our boat … thank you Tina. We will definitely return.

Spectacular Lodge

This is our second stay at Ferry Lodge and it did not falter to give us peace and happiness for our holiday stay. The lodge is always clean and comfortable ,just to add a tea pot and maybe a coffee machine, small snack bowels , wifi is a bit temperamental but think that is a Brundall area issue. Nothing is ever a problem for Tina , who goes the extra mile to make sure every guest are comfortable and happy, she is amazing. The view from the Lodge is just amazing and you get to see the sun go down from the very large outside area with lots of seating . The White Heron is a local pub and also a great place to visit. Would most defiantly recommend this lodge for a holiday stay.

Relaxing stay

Previously stayed in natures nook , was aware of location and surrounding area. The website is pretty accurate, shows off property very well.Great for an amateur fisherman, who enjoys the environment and a drink as well . The A47 roadworks were a nuisance.,as was the cucumber Lane roundabout. Although the property allows dogs , there was no evidence or smells from Previous users.Vilage is not walkable, but pub and bakery is.Probably a great location all year around. We will be back.

Easter breaks

We have now been to the lodges on a number of occasions and each time the lodges have been turned out to a very high standard and the host Tina always makes calls to ensure everything is as you would expect. The lodges are excellent for all year round breaks and it allows you to see all the seasons from new life with all the baby ducks, swans, to fishing on your door step to lovely sunset through out summer as the lodges face west or just relax and unwind and watch the boats go by. We will be returning in the summer for a further recharge of our batteries so to speak.

Great lodge, location and service

What a wonderful place Ferry Lodge is, a great position on the river Yare with a lovely view of the country pub, on the other side of the river (you'll need your own transport to get across or around a 1 hr journey by car), passing boats and great evening sunsets. This place truly was home from home. Fishing was great, lots of tiddlers but some failed opportunities of pike and large bream straight from the decking! Good range of garden furniture including sun loungers which were lovely for soaking up the atmosphere. A broad is very close by and easily reached by water, so do bring your SUP/canoe/kayak this is a must! Tina was extremely responsive throughout our booking and our stay.
