Renovated Historic 5BR - Steps to Playa Pelada

Casa Playa is a fully renovated version of a historic and charming home. Located within 200 meters of the beach in Playa Pelada, this five-bedroom casa y casita is a great place to relax!

Situated playa Guiones, Casa Playa is a five bedroom, 2 and a half bathroom home constructed around a beautiful garden and pool living area.

The house provides a privacy tranquility and relaxing atmosphere for families to relax and enjoy everything Costa Rica has to offer. The outdoor area provides both sun and shaded space to enjoy without leaving the property. The beach is less than a 4 minute walk on a dedicated trail and easily accessible.

The nearby Il Pepperoni Restaurant, Juice bar and breakfast is a 5 min walk down the road. When you get to the beach, a walk south will take you to Olgas and La Luna in 7 minutes. Following a path at the end of the beach will take you to down to Nosara where you can surf and walk into town. Walking on the beach to down town Nosara will take about 20 to 30 minutes from the Casa based on your pace. The location is quiet, private and walking distance to most of what you might want. Driving and local transportation is also available and the larger market and banks are only a few minute drive north.

The living spaces:
Recently renovated the property provides a total of five private bedrooms and two and half bathrooms. There is also an outdoor shower and space to park your car or ATV inside the gate. The entire property is walled for privacy and peace of mind.

Entering the front door into the kitchen and living area, we have installed a glass door that opens to the outdoor living space. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and eating with all of the equipment required to create your own meals. Tables for dinning inside and out are available under a covered patio along with hammocks to relax in next to the pool area.

The property is surrounded by a wall for privacy and quiet, however the interior garden creates a feel for the lush jungle surroundings. Mornings are the most active for wildlife and the songs of the local birds and occasional howler monkeys who reside near by.

In the main house, there are three bedrooms. The larger master bedroom has a King bed, dresser and closet. The two additional bedrooms have a queen bed and two twin beds for a total of 6 people. Each room has a dedicated air conditioning unit that can be set to each guests preference. Adjacent to the outdoor patio, there are two newly constructed bedrooms that have a shared bathroom. Each room has two queen beds, dressers and closets for an additional four guests in total. These bedrooms also have dedicated air conditioning units that can be set to the guest preferences. Outside of the bedrooms is a small sitting area and an outdoor shower. The third half bath is located in a dedicated structure that is easily accessed.

The main outdoor space is for living and enjoying the property and the pool area, but a quick walk to the beach is adjacent to the neighbor. A short path opens up to a quiet beach that is ideal to walk in the early morning or any time that you feel the call to breath in the fresh ocean with peace and quiet. As you walk to the south, you will pass La Luna, a favorite restaurant on the beach. Close to La Luna is a path to the next beach, Playa …. And downtown Nosara. Walking on the beach, you can get to downtown Nosara in about 30 minutes based on your pace.

Accessing the Property is through a key code on the main gate and front door. Additionally, a fulltime property manager will assist guests on all arrivals.

Three minute walk down path to Playa Pelada beach.

Everything you need is in walking distance. Nearby we have a number of shops and restaurants, all walking distance.

Downtown Nosara is also a short walk along the beach or through trails.

For larger purchases, you may want to drive to larger stores which are also close by.

Walking is easy to everything, however you may want to secure a car, truck, ATV or something similar for touring and visiting nearby areas. Flights from Liberia and San Jose are scheduled but if you are driving, Liberia airport is closest, approximately 2.5 hour drive. Hired services are available if you prefer

Linens, sheets and towels for the bath, pool and beach are all provided. Additional items can be arranged for you ahead of time, such as surf board rentals, ATV's or mode of transportation, tours as well. The list is long, so just ask and we will do what we can to accommodate.
