We loved our stay so much! The room was new and spotless. The bed and pillows super comfy! The rooftop patio is like an oasis. The breakfast had an amazing selection! And every person on the staff was kind and just an absolute pleasure! We can’t wait to go back!

Building including room, halls, elevators, restaurant, pools and bathroom were modern and clean. Bell hop (Victor) very helpful and attentive, called me a taxi, loaded my heavy baggage, showed me empty mini fridge and safe in the room. No mini-bar, no coffee maker. Several large towels but no hand towels or face cloths. Front desk man at check in didn’t want to give me a copy of papers I signed, “you can take a picture”, but then wanted to take back the packet before I finished doing so. None of the usual orientation material one expects to find in the room, restaurant hours, exercise room, pool hours and rules, how to access wifi. When I went back down to front desk to ask about that he said words to the effect of “we don’t have a Packet like that” I asked him about wifi SSID and password and he took my phone and entered it but I had to ask him to give it to me for my other devices. Shower never delivered hot water, When I went back to front desk, all he offered was “did you let it run for 20 minutes?”. When I told him I had already let it run half an hour he said, “we can put in a message for maintenance but they won’t be able to do anything until Friday ” (this was Wednesday afternoon). I was only customer in restaurant but had to tap my spoon on empty water glass to get waiter to come refill it, when I asked him to leave me a carafe he set down the now nearly empty one and I had to ask again for a full one.

Room was clean, the hotel is pet friendly, about a 10 mimutes walk from the beach, a couple of restaurants next door but other restaurants and grocery shop also about a 10 minute walk, 1 medium size pool and 2 small ones with 2 hot tubs great customer service

The staff at Hotel Mio were amazing. Super helpful and friendly. The view from the rooftop restaurant was a 10/10 and if you get a room on the river keep a lookout for the crocodile and all of the iguanas in the trees.

The best shower water pressure I've ever had at a hotel in Mexico. The room was fine but smelled badly of must. The air conditioner just had a bad smell. The rooftop pool area was lovely, a great vibe nice pool plus a nice big hot tub. However the restaurant was beyond terrible probably the worst food we've had in Mexico. Do not bother with breakfast buffet.
