Odsherred is one of the most beautiful vacation areas in Denmark and is known for its varied nature. Especially beautiful are the elevations Klintebakkerne near the vacation home. Also be enchanted by the stone pillars created by the artist Udo Leis. Here you can picnic while enjoying the view of the Kattegat. In the shopping town of Nykøbing Sjælland, a few minutes away by car, you will find cafes and inviting boutiques in the charming pedestrian zone.



The area is good for catching sea trout and flounder on the coast. The ice age landscape in Odsherred is unique and crucial to the Odsherred of today. That is why Odsherred is a geopark. Take a trip on the burial mound road and experience the Ice Age landscape, the Stone Age barrows and the Bronze Age burial mounds, the souls in Ulkerup, Hempel Glass Museum, Odsherred Museum, which has a copy of the sun chariot found in Trundholm Mose swamp, the pocket stone, the work of a troll or a geological wonder? Næsholm Castle, which stands on a small island in Lake Nygård Sø between Højby and Nykøbing Sj.
