A half-mile walk to the beach (or a one-minute drive) makes this gorgeous new build the perfect place to be together for family beach week.
An expansive great room with a show-stopping kitchen makes Better Together the perfect beach house for those who like a pristine and casually sophisticated home away from home. Three bedrooms offer sleeping privacy for two couples and a bunch of kids! Gorgeous custom tile showers, quality wood trim throughout, white oak hardwood floors, and solid wood custom cabinetry of relaxed luxury. The primary bedroom suite is a true retreat, offering a substantial walk-in closet, direct access to the screened rear porch, and a luxurious private bathroom.
Our street is a straight walk through to the beach access. Nearby Middleton Park provides food trucks and a cabana with showers/ restrooms. You will have easy access to the splash pad, skate park, and baseball fields if you need a diversion from the sand for a while. And, don’t miss stopping for a Dole Whip from a nearby food truck. Our home is an easy visit to grocery shopping, dining, and bar spots, and various ice cream, coffee, and donut options.

In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.
Golf Carts are prohibited at this property.

Summer Check-Ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Check Out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy, so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Things To Do:
Oak Island is known for its golden sand beaches, calming blue waters, friendly community, and proximity to the cities of Southport, Wilmington, and Myrtle Beach. There are many cute island coffee shops, stores, breweries, and a park that showcases a splash pad for summer fun! With a beautiful Golf Club open to summer travelers and over 100 public water access points, there is an abundance of all things adventurous to do on Oak Island!
If you'd like to keep your fitness routine going while on vacation, you can get an out-of-town Gym pass at Oak Island Recreation Center. Utilize the Rec Center's ample parking, put in at the Kayak ramp, and spend hours kayaking our beautiful marshes. Sit on the lawn and enjoy a night off cooking at our Weekly Friday night "Summer Concert In The Park" with a couple of local food truck options at this family-centric Live Music event. Beach Day takes place in Oak Island on the Friday before July 4th and features all-day activities followed by fireworks on the island that evening.
Visit Historic Southport, a seafaring town just five miles from our island, for a bigger nightlife. Southport, at the confluence of the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean, features a variety of different restaurants, bars, live music and shopping. It is one of our favorite places to walk around and check out different food and live music on the weekends. There are free parking options all over town, and you can easily walk to dozens of places while enjoying the breeze from the riverfront and admiring historic homes and general store buildings that date back to the early 1800s. Southport's State Fourth of July Festival is a three-day street fair with artists from all over the state, vendors, and food. It is truly like being in an Andy Griffith episode with the parade and grand finale fireworks show over the riverfront in Southport.
