I asked Expedia for a place with an airport shuttle, but when we got to Oakland there was no sign of a shuttle. The hotel did provide transportation via Lyft when I called to ask, but I had to call and ask.

The room was clean and comfortable. However I do NOT recommend staying here. As other reviews mentioned, our rental car was vandalized in the parking lot. They charge $24 for parking but no security or cameras to protect your vehicle.

I would’ve wished their gate wasn’t open or broken if we were paying the parking fee.. everything was nice but our car’s handle was completely tore apart & broken off and the door was completely dented in on my drivers side, which supposedly we’re completely responsible for that stated on policy. someone was trying to break into our car during the night.. that was our only inconvenience but other than that service and staff were nice and helpful.

Paper thin walls. Refrigerator noise like a dump truck. TRICKLE for water in the bathroom sink. What !?? Constant humming noise into the room from above. Called in to arrange a airport shuttle pick up and was put on hold for 9 minutes. I hung up and called back in ... did they forget about me? Is that a herd of elephants above. So disappointed. The shower running upstairs was so loud it was like in our room. So not like a marriott. TV channels .not. (long story) No clock. No bedside outlet to plug in my phone.

My TV didn't work and it took almost an hour for Engineering to come and diagnose the problem (a bad TV). they quickly brought me a new one. Logging onto the free internet was a problem, but I was assured that by clicking 'paid internet' I was still getting it for free. We'll see when I check out. I was also surprised with a $20 parking fee....grrrr! Maybe this was on the initial page when I chose the hotel, but if so, I missed it.
